Iris would feel really uncomfortable if they had to kill Chrystal for something that she couldn't control. She did not make any grave mistakes, it was just that the timing was not right.

"Cane…" Iris tried. "Let me talk to her, okay?" She cupped his face and stared into his eyes.

"Iris, you know the answer already. I hate to break your heart, but this is not something negotiable." Cane kissed her palm to appease her, but he could still feel how tense she was with his decision. "You don't need to be there. Just forget about this matter, I will take care of it."

Iris knew what exactly Cane meant when he said he would take care of it. It didn't make her feel better at all.
