Cane had stayed with Iris for two whole nights because she was sleeping, barely conscious due to the extreme weather. The few instances where she came to her senses was when she wanted water, but then she would fall asleep again. Probably, she didn't even remember that.

Therefore, Iris didn't have any idea what Cane had done for her, though she could vaguely recall between her dreams how someone had held her tightly and how that made her feel comfortable.

"But, you need to pretend you didn't know about this, the Alpha said to not mention anything about it," Hanna said surreptitiously. The Alpha was wrong if he thought she would keep a secret from her missy.

"You shouldn't have let me know," Iris grimaced, now she would have a hard time undoing what she had learned.
