章 4: Sleeping Next To The Alpha (2)
Isabelle looked at his face as he slowly took off her clothes. She knew it would be the first and last touch. Before the night was covered with brightness, she had swallowed her pride and surrendered herself to the desirous alpha.
Sighing deeply, Devin lay his fingers on her soft, flawless skin. He knew how it felt like to touch a woman, but when he touched Isabelle, he felt different.
It was magical. He looked at her like an angel in disguise. An angel who had fallen from the sky that would change an alpha's life.
He took a deep breath, staring down at her neck. It was glowing in the dark as an invitation to own her body and soul.
"Isabelle," he started and threw her shirt onto the floor. "Look into my eyes."
Devin whispered into her ears and smelled her neck aggressively. If they were meant to be together in one night, he accepted the truth and cherished it forever.
After he lost a track of Isabelle, he would never forget the woman who caught her heart and taught him how to love unconditionally in a short time.
His warm body was on fire as he laid down over her. His breath was deep as he stuck with Isabelle's tantalizing eyes.
She gasped and a sweet smile flaunted on her lips.
"Devin," she called the alpha by his name. Isabelle could no longer hold the burning sensation. She was on fire as she savored his warm, jaw-dropping body.
Her crimson lips were closed tightly when Devin grabbed her waist and planted quick kisses on her neck.
There were exact words that could explain what she had felt at that moment. Isabelle dreamed to be in her lover's arms someday. Now that he was an inch away from her, she couldn't ask for more even the happiness in her heart won't last forever.
"Ugh! I can no longer hide this feeling anymore!" he said.
Like a flash of lightning, Devin sealed her with a passionate kiss that turned out to be the best kiss he ever had. His heart thumped too fast, savoring every second with the lonely vampire.
Isabelle was a gorgeous vampire and there was no doubt that she belongs to the prettiest vampires of history. Her beauty was exceptional, not to mention her cold, glowing porcelain-like skin.
Devin's hands trailed off from her back down her waist. Her cold body was embraced as it turned warm and soft to be touched.
"Devin! Oh, Devin!"
Isabelle has nothing to hide even how hard she tried to control it. Her true feelings showed on their own while she cherished the alpha's sweet, softest lips in the shadow of darkness and warmth.
The entire room was surrounded with unexplainable energy as two unlikely lovers met each other at the wrong time and place.
A vampire courageously stepped into the alpha's territory solely symbolizing encroaching. If Devin Mondragon's found out the truth, her life would be in danger, and to live, Isabelle must leave the werewolves' territory before it killed her.
However, despite their differences, love found its way and let two lonely souls emerge as one.
"Say it! Say it, Isabelle!" he told her, caressing her arms down to her chest that awakened the desirous monsters within themselves.
"Own me! Own me like I'm the alpha's sweetest obsession tonight—just one, cold night!"
Those sweet words which came from her mouth convinced the alpha. He had been controlling himself, but when he saw her face, her naked body, Devin shook his head and granted her saccharine request.
On that night, the alpha owned the vampire who lived in solitary. Longing for something that couldn't be seen by eyes was difficult to find. But in the end, Isabelle Swain proved that no matter what happened, while she was breathing, she could attain everything.
Before he emanated inside of her soul, Isabelle prayed that she won't see him again. She won't cross the alpha's path once again or her sacrifices would turn into despair and vain.
It would only be a waste. If letting go of him was the best way to live, Isabelle had decided beforehand.
"I will always be your obsession, Devin Mondragon," she whispered.
As she looked into his alluring eyes for the last time, Devin gritted his teeth while he moved in a beautiful rhythm. It created unforgettable harmony that jibed with the chirps of birds and the sound of the wind.
Everything in the forest became as one after how many years. Their union turned out to be one of the emblems that love has no boundaries. If it was genuine, love would conquer everything whatever it would take.
As Devin released all of his strengths, he tiringly laid down next to Isabelle. The smile on his face almost reached his ears even he closed his eyes.
"Huh, I'll just need five minutes and we will do the same thing. Do you understand?" he said, chuckling like a teenager who had finally made love with his ultimate crush.
"If that's what you want, I want it too," she replied and held back the tears that were about to betray her.
Isabelle pretended to be firm with last minutes with him. It would be easy to take another path, living by herself and burying the memory she had with the alpha.
With her long, skinny arms, she reached for his head as she caressed it gently. She was looking at the ceiling while Devin rested on her chest.
It should have been the sweetest moment of their lives, but to their different pasts and origins, they had no other choice. They must let go of each other hands and suppressed the day when they met coincidentally.
However, while she was cherishing the moment, Devin held her hands tightly out of nowhere. Isabelle thought that he already knew her plans, then he should have at least done what he was supposed to do.
"If we're given another chance to see each other again, I will never let go of your cold hands anymore. I will choose you and love you for the rest of my life. You will always be my obsession, Isabelle. Please never forget my name." Devin whispered it before he had fallen asleep.
Unknowingly, Isabelle heard everything that made her burst into tears. Her heart shattered into pieces as she closed her eyes and slept next to the alpha before she left the home she just found.
