“I mean,” Drystan shook his head slightly, gently putting the document down. “What are you looking at, Your Grace?“
Adrastus raised an eyebrow delicately and fixed him with a deadpan look. “Why, My Lord, am I not allowed to look at you?“
Drystan also raised an eyebrow challengingly, leaning forward, propping his elbow on his desk and tucking his cheek against his hand, the Marquess flashed the Duke of Yorkshire a lazy smile.
“I never did say that, now, did I?“ Canting his head slightly, he stated in a flat voice. “Your Grace should stop putting words in my mouth.“
Adrastus shook his head, face coloured in mocking disbelief he said in a wounded voice. “How could My Lord say such a thing? Why would I of all people do something like that?“
Drystan snorted, paying the Duke no mind, he calmly picked the document back up and started reading it once more.
