章 103: Ch.103 Is it really?!
After being injected by the ability serum, Jill loses consciousness...
Meanwhile as Jill passes out, Some Umbrella staff cut off the drugs being used to sedate Alice in Raccoon City Hospital.
She awakens in an abandoned building, now having been enhanced by her earlier virus infection. As she exits the hospital, she recognizes the virus has escaped, causing devastation in the streets and makes her way to a police car where she grabs a shotgun from the front seat. She pumps the shotgun once and moves on...
When Jill came to, she was in the passenger seat of the van they commandeered to get to the only exit out of Raccoon City.
Kris was sitting on the driver seat looking at all the people, and cars coming on to the bridge.
'Kris must have parked on a spot before the bridge.' Jill thought. She sat up, and asked,"Why are we still here, I thought you said another team will be coming to find you soon..."
"Oh! Good morning. Well its evening now... But, yeah... we are hear to follow the plot as it plays out. So, I'm waiting for Umbrella to make there move." answer Kris looking at Jill.
"So, how do you feel? You should be feeling the effects of the serum now... Don't worry though you'll get to test it out later. Superior Healing, Adaptive Muscle Memory, and Enhanced Strength(Thanks to Niki Sanders). that's what you got." Kris told Jill who was clenching her fist trying to feel out her new abilities.
After the excitement of having super powers died down a little, Jill looked out as civilians flock to Raven's Gate Bridge, the main route out of the city. Happy to finally get out of this horror filled city of the damned.
But, to their disappointment. They are stopped by a large wall, Umbrella has erected as a checkpoint. Umbrella operatives screen them for traces of any T-Virus infection, Before they could be let thru.
Everything was going smoothly, and then a scream was heard from a little girl hunched over her father, who started convulsing.
Kris quickly got out of the car as his feral hearing picked the scream up from the distance, Jill knowing that things might be progressing like what Kris mentioned a while ago.
She followed Kris. To her surprise, she moved like she never had before. Keeping to Kris's six as if, it was no chore at all. Unknown to her, that she activated one of the abilities she now possess.
The Adaptive Muscle Memory ability let her copies Kris's feline like grace, and agility as he rans pass the crowd of people.
When Kris arrive at the scene, Peyton Wells also a member of S.T.A.R.S. was holding unto a girl that wants to help her now zombiefying father.
As the man completes his transformation, Jill appears behind Kris. But, she didn't stop there. As she went to the convulsing man, and shot him in the head.
Kris could only do a face palm as Jill had now change another part of the plot.
People started panicking at the sound of a gun shot. But, Jill's action was able to save Peyton Wells from joining then undead legion.
While the other police personel appease the crowd, Peyton Wells thanks Jill for lending a hand and spots Kris saying,"Well what do we have here the prodigal son returns." while giving Kris a sarcastic glare.
He then looks towards Jill asking,"He still trying to get into your pants?"
Jill gives him a smirk, and looks at Kris while saying,"Not if he want to keep his nuts."
"Hahaha, that's a good girl. He's not worth it." clapping Jill on the shoulder, and points at Kris,"I'm watching you! Boy, better keep it in your pants!"
Kris could only roll his eyes at this. God really made him out into a D*ck in this movie.
Jill then changes the topic as she asks,"What are you still doing here Peyton? You should have gotten out while you can."
"Look at them Jill, these are our people. How can I leave just like that?!" saying so as he gestures to the still panicking crowd.
A riot started to build up as people push to come thru the barricades. The security personel started losing control of the situation.
Until Major Timothy Cain, orders all checkpoints to be closed. As the T-Virus infection has already reached the gates.
And then he informs the remaining citizens to return to their homes. No one responds to the order, and then he tells the military to use live ammunition within 5 seconds if the crowd doesn't disperse by then.
They began the count down, but the people didn't believe they would shoot. The only person who moved was Kris dragging Jill, Payton, and the Weather Girl from the local News channel.
As they were halfway thru the crowd, the military began to shoot anyone who was beyond the barricade.
The crowd began to stampede out of the bridges vicinity, and back to the city.
Kris was able to fend off any of the rioters from harming the Weather Girl who was still filming everything. With the help of the two other S.T.A.R.S. members they were able to get back to their van.
Unfortunately the tires were punctured by some douche who passed by. After unsuccessfully taking the vehicle.
The four now walk on the street of the torn city, Introducing themselves as they go. The now known Terri Morales the weather girl, records everything.
As it began to rain the group ran into the nearby Church, which was not by coincidence at all. As Kris was using the still invisible Shearpike as a guide towards this place.
That's right Kris have task Shearpike to go scouting ahead of them.
Ever since they left the police station, Shearpike was clearing the way for them while keeping a look out for team Devil's emergence.
