章 14: Ch. 14 God must be Crazy!
The ten days with in god's domain passed in a blink of an eye, after their intial training session Zheng and the other went on their own training regement. Kris would once in a while meet up with them and show some of his progress but most of his time went into practicing his newly found abilities as an esper; though, not a full on telekenetic he could still move small pebbles or guide the flow of water from a tap and though he is now an empath he could only feel the vague emotion in his surroundings. What stood out more with the abilities he got, is the memory palace within his mind; he could now organize his memories and catalog them; it also gave him the clarity to compose his ideas and thoughts better; that and the ability to multi task but its a working progress. Another ability he got; this one he new of; is spacial awareness at limited range, as gundam pilots use this to manuver their mobile suit with great efficiency; due its likeness to observation haki, but in essense its more like HunterXHunters EN. The fact that his releasing a very thin; unnoticeable amount of psychic waves around him, like an invible bubble would aptly support the comparison. He is able to persive any and everything within this area, although his current limit is at a 5m diameter around him it is still usable.
What he did for physical training; is perform the Five Animals Play he saw his uncle practice religiously when he was young and paired it with the Flowing Lotus Style which is an improve variant of taijiquan.
In preperation for the next movie which only he know is Alien; (after much deliberation he did not tell the others as it is his only advantage in surviving what coming...) He bought a lot of blue prints and tried to assemble some of them; yes; assemble not make, due to the fact that most of the it is 'over technology' and he is not versed with all the process to create his own, he found away to produce some of it by looking thru god's list for spare parts and work the kinks from there. But not all could be made this way, not having enough points to use his cheat item to breeze thru all this again... not everything is solvable by popping a pill of NTZ-48 and because of the draw backs of the drug, he can't afford to do it again; just fixing the draw back almost bankrupt his points. with only 500pts remaining due to his expenditures, he is only left with enough to purchase an AA12-assult shot gun with explosive and percing rounds. On the bright side He was able to assemble a working light saber; though not the same as the one the jedi use but something like what Kirito used in GGO; the diffirence in its power source was a major factor as he could not activate a jedi light saber, he would have made, due to him not having any mediclorians in his system.
By the time he was ready, armed with his AA12-assult shot gun, the psuedo light saber and a mini ball shaped drone like the one they used in the prometheus movie, that would connect to a HUD googles he exchange from god, along with food pills and water cubes all nicely packed in his swat tactical outfit. If One and the mercs could see him now, they'll think he is part of their team without a doubt.
Meeting up with the others to make the final preparations, Kris all kitted out walked along side Felicity holding her hand.
"That's basically it. Three grenades each person, one hemostatic spray, one oral antidote, one bandage, and an amulet. Thanks to Zheng, these cost 100 points. We wouldn't have the points to exchange them." Jie announced. Zheng looked at his points with a bitter smile, he only had 276 points left down from 6502. But then he looked at all the support items in his ring and felt better.Jie packed his stuff then put them in his pockets. "Even though it's only a few days but you've trained everything you should. Just remember one point. Everything can happen in movies, so you must be cautious. And try to help others if possible but if they affect your safety, kill them."Lan and Xiaoyi hesitated, but Zheng nodded Kris just gripped Felicity's hand tighter. "How are we going to the next movie? Do we just disappear suddenly?"Jie shook his head. "No. When it's time, there will be twenty beams. You just have to stand in one."
After twenty minutes, God became brighter and brighter. Then it shot twenty beams to the ground. A voice sounded inside their head."Enter the beam in thirty seconds. Target locked. Transportation to Alien starts."
Releasing Felicity's Hand and pecking her lips, Kris turned to walk into the beam. When he was about to disappear Felicity shouted "If you don't come back! I'm keeping Long Claw!" Zheng who was looking on towards the two and their antics just shook his head.
The world faded black. Zheng entered a state of half awake and half asleep. This didn't last long. In the blink of an eye his vision came back. This room wasn't too big, the ceiling and walls were made of steel. Various machines spread out in the room, all of them were unfamiliar to Zheng. He looked to the side. Ten newbies lied on the ground. Jie and the other two had waken up now Kris just came to saying " The first thing I'm doing after I get home is to put some locks on my liquor cabinet." Kris with his same old antics. Jie immediately looked to the ground, then his face turned pale. "This is bad, fifteen people. You won't get this difficulty in a scifi movie like Alien. God must have changed something."
