Xia Sinian woke up only to see his children, looking at him.

"Mamaaaa! Papa is awake!" Xia Mengjie exclaimed happily.

"Papa! Awake!" Xia Liqin followed.

Xia Sinian turned and saw Li Bingbing peeling and slicing the apple. Her eyes were red and puffy as if she was just done crying.

Just by seeing her that way, Xia Sinian knew that Li Bingbing has finally found out about his real condition. He only wished that she has come to accept it just like he did.

Li Bingbing's eyes softened up when she saw him awake. She placed the knife aside before she handed the sliced apples that were on a plate to her daughter before she asked Xia Sinian, "Are you hungry?"

Xia Sinian nodded a bit, "Yeah, I would love to eat something."

Li Bingbing adjusted his bed so that it would be easier for him. She placed a pillow on his back to make it more comfortable for him. "I will get something for you."

She turned to her daughter, "Mengmeng, watch over your brother and father, okay?"
