The morning sun streamed through the window of my office as I sat behind my desk, fingers crossed in front of me. I had left the bed before the first morning light. I couldn't sleep the entire night because I kept thinking of my sister and Brooke. I had asked them to come see me this morning and I was ready to serve them their first punishment if they fail to come on time.

My jaw was set, eyes hard as steel as I waited. I wanted to make sure to keep my baby and Selene safe. That was the most important thing for me now. A soft knock at the door of my office broke the tense silence.
