"Avery, where the fuck is your head? You've dropped the ball like three times in the last half hour." I squinted at the new coach trying to decide if it was a good idea to throw the ball at his fucking head.

My stubborn as fuck wife was not where she was supposed to be; how the fuck was I supposed to concentrate on this shit? I couldn't bail on the team but I wanted to. We had a game coming up and I needed to be on top of my game. Skye knew this shit too so why she would choose now to do this shit was beyond me.

"Coach I need to make a run and come back."

"Son that's just not done."

"Fine, I quit."
