章 45: Magical Doctor
Ayla was very shocked to learn that Lin Cian created his skills by replicating the skills of Dracula. She managed to calm herself and looked with a smile at Lin Cian.
"Thank you for saving us Mr....."
"Rindell... Lan Rindell"
William was a bit shocked but he chose to stay calm. He knew that Lin Cian won't hide his identity without a reason, but he was also confused.
"Thank you for saving us Mr. Rindell"
"Us?..... What you became so close in a day?" Lin Cian asked with a frown on his face.
Seeing the awkward moment Ayla was in William chose to give a hand to her so he confronted Lin Cian
"Brother... She is my mate" William whispered. Lin Cian made a frowning expression and turned towards William and stared at him.
Ayla blushed when she heard the whisper. She used both her hands to cover her burnt red cheeks.
"Yo what is your age?" asked Lin Cian which made her come into reality. She immediately retreated her hands from her cheeks and replied
"I am seventeen," she said in a shy tone.
"So it will be a year," said Lin Cian followed by a deep sigh.
"Don't worry we do it at sixteen" said William Laughingly. But the cold glare of Lin Cian put him in an awkward situation. He smiled awkwardly.
"Don't worry since both of us were strong it is not important now" said Ayla after understanding what the boys were talking about.
After a few exchanges of words, Lin Cian decided to give them a private space. After all, she is William's mate. It will also be an awkward moment for him to watch a couple melting in love. So he decided to distance himself for a moment.
After a few minutes, Ayla and William appeared in front of Lin Cian.
"Are you sure you both were not coming to the academy?" asked Ayla. She asked both the boys to join her prestigious academy, but both of the boys denied the offer. As for William, he promised to meet her at her academy after two years.
The trio moved to the location in which Ayla was teleported previously. The area is where they fought with Tailor and his comrade. When they went there Lin Cian asked Ayla to stand away from them. When she stood away Lin Cian extended his arms towards her. Her eyes widened, but she disappeared into the thin air before she could react.
Ayla was surprised because Lin Cian didn't chant anything. It is an extreme ability only a witch may use. At the last moment she was with them she was scared and also her respect towards Lin Cian increased because even if she always she is strong but Lin Cian is stronger. After she left Lin Cian had a great villain to defeat. It's to answer the questions of William.
"Are you somehow related to that little girl?" a voice resounded towards Lin Cian. It was neither pleasant nor harsh. Immediately after Ayla left William asked Lin Cian all the questions he had.
Hahaha "Of course..... no," said Lin Cian in a trembling but clear voice.
"Then why didn't you reveal your identity?" asked William. According to William Doral was the only person close to Ayla. If she was narrating the story to someone then it will be the little girl. As for Lin Cian if he doesn't want his identity to be known by Doral otherwise he won't have to change the identity.
Lin Cian smiled awkwardly. Seeing his smile William frowned his face and said
"It's ok to have secrets. If it is a confident thing you don't have to tell me..... Ok.... err... Sorry.... for hiding my identity" said William facing down.
"Ooh but I don't find a reason for you to apologize," Lin Cian said with a frown on his face while crossing his hands.
"Are you not angry with me for hiding my identity?"
"Why should I?..... After all, everyone has an unspeakable truth"
"Thank you "
"hmm?....."
"For saving us"
Lin Cian didn't open his mouth, he stared at William instead.
"Fine I won't mention it anymore," said William in a pleasing tone but he wasn't finished "Why are you not afraid of me?" asked William.
"You?... haha... I am naturally stronger than you..... It will be embarrassing for me to be afraid of you. "
After a minute of awkward silence while William was staring at Lin Cian with a frown on his face William burst into laughter.
"What if I am stronger?" asked William while showering his curiosity over Lin Cian.
"Will you hurt me?" asked Lin Cian with a frown on his face which made William look at him in a different view. Before speaking further William made a deep sigh
"Brother, I was so scared I would lose you," said William with a regretting look on his face.
"Whatever you took care of me. What do you think of me? After all, you are not the first one" said Lin Cian.
William's eyes widened "You have seen... "
"My 'seventh sense' I learned from a half-breed man," said Lin Cian.
William wondered but suddenly he understood what Lin Cian is yet to say
"How do you know I am a half breed!?" William asked in wonder.
"I can see through anyone's identity," said Lin Cian. William's eyes widened. He was stupefied.
"So... so you knew already?" asked William. Lin Cian didn't answer but only smiled which made William feel goosebumps.
" Then I was worried too much. I was...."
"I know your feelings. Don't worry I won't be making a mess out of it"
"Thanks" William answered with a smile.
After thinking for a moment William once again asked "How did you heal me"
Lin Cian smiled "I have my way," he said and turned away.
When the magic doctor, wife of Lu Cheng was recruited into 'Sky fall pavilion' she came to know about Lin Cian's help and the way he avenged Lu Cheng. She also thought Lin Cian was a powerful person and decided to pass her secrets on to him. She was called a magic doctor because no injury can't be healed by her. Her medicine was called the 'healing water'. It can cure any injuries even if the person is on his death bed.
The 'healing water' is nothing but ordinary water which the magic doctor used to conceal her identity.
She was a half-breed who is a water bender who can guide water at her will. The water benders had a unique ability which is healing.
Although there are healing spells they are very much energy consuming and it is hard to practice. But getting a spell is costly and having a spell will attract unwanted people. So Lin Cian decided to learn at all costs at the condition of teaching the skill to the daughter of Lu Cheng if something happened to the doctor.
Lin Cian learned the technique wholeheartedly and promised not to use it until a dire need.
Lin Cian used Williams's blood as a medium and healed him. Lin Cian's abilities were different and were not real water bending. He would use his spirit essence to control the things he desires. So he guided William's blood instead of water through his ribs, then nerves, tissues, and then the skin. Thus he cured William.
When Lin Cian and William decided to move they were stunned and a chill invaded their spine.
