Sam managed to get the location of their camp but he told them that they couldn't come right now as they still had some unfinished business.

Rachel found it hard to keep her cool because this only confirmed that people had come here.

Her actions had the potential to ruin everything, Clementine was surprised that people were walking out of there alive.

It's either something happened to Sam or these people had somehow convinced him that they weren't a threat.

Clementine knew the former was more likely than the latter but she entertained the possibility as these were just high school students at best.
