Chiaki was an intuitive person. It didn't bode well with her if something didn't sit right. Her guts felt the sudden sinking feeling as if something ominous was about to happen.

She hated this capability. Being intuitive enough to call that something was problematic without being able to explain the reason was torturous for her inner peace. It disturbed her innate energy.

"My lord?" Chiaki called him.

He still had his back against her, sighing.

Chiaki saw no reason not to approach him, so with her awry level of confidence, she walked closer and rounded her arms around him, in a back hug that she felt comfortable with.

"I'm sorry."

"Whatever are you saying sorry for?" Lance Hua snapped and turned around, casually removing Chiaki's hands from his body.
