章 52: Season 2: Chapter 4:Respect is not given it is earned

Don Claro stirred the contents of his ceramic tea cup as he furrowed his eyebrows. His eyes flicked upward to look at me. I nodded as he cocked his head to the right. He then raised his hand and turned to the young maid next to him.

"Tell Johnny to come here please."

The maid nodded and shot me a dirty glare before turning and shutting the door behind her with a loud bang. I whistled. 

"You sure pissed her off, Don Claro."

Don Claro chuckled before nodding.

"To be exact you were the one to piss her off Astrid."

I snorted. It was clear she had the hots for him and to be honest, they were a clear match. I smiled as I imagined my ship for the two of them to sail. 

My heartbeat continued to be erratic as I tightened my trembling fists. The proposal that I gave to Don Claro that would be one that would benefit both parties. As well as allow me to finally get out of this place so that I could continue with my large scale experiment.
