2.59% Survival Journey : I am a lucky star / Chapter 9: Game Begins: Maritime Banquet 9

章 9: Game Begins: Maritime Banquet 9

"Hiding is a viable option," Chef Lu said calmly, wiping his knife with a cloth. "But don't you think killing the infected would be a more effective solution than hiding?"

Wen Nannan looked at him in surprise.

Only those who had experienced it firsthand knew how difficult it was to kill a group of people they had once lived and worked with. At least during her upbringing, she was never taught to do so.

Even if these people posed a potential threat.

Wen Nannan took another look at Chef Lu. This is not what a chef who stays in the kitchen and makes delicious fried salmon would say.

This exceptionally handsome Chef Lu…it's better to socialize less.

Wen Nannan pushed the dining cart back to her room and locked the door. She even added an extra layer of wire mesh and foam to the doorway.

She didn't know why she was doing this, but it just felt safer.

Survive safely on the ninth day of navigation.

Sea Survival, Day 10

Wen Nannan, as usual, leaned against the peephole to observe the situation outside. Sometimes, Auntie Li and the captain would knock on her door to ask how she was doing.

Wen Nannan, who was used to staying home, said she was fine. If possible, she would have been happy to stay in her room for the remaining twenty days.

In another room, two other novice players were discussing.

"Another one has been infected," the blond boy said as he closed the door,

"Why don't we just stick to our original plan and stay on the deck? If anything happens, we can just seal the door connecting the upper and lower decks."

"Okay," the bespectacled man next to him nodded. "The other players are hiding and won't show their faces. We'll go up ourselves and leave them to their own devices."

The two of them agreed.

The sky is shrouded in dark clouds, and it is about to rain.

The two of them walked together through rows of containers which were very close together and only allowed one person to pass through.

"Damn it, these containers stink!" The blonde boy covered his nose and said, "What's inside?"

"It could be rotten food," the man in glasses looked around. "It's okay, let's quickly find the supply container we marked earlier."

They dared to carry backpacks onto the deck because they found a container full of supplies. This cargo box contains food and water, enough for them to sustain the remaining twenty days.

"It's here." said the yellow-haired boy, pointing to the number on the container.

The two of them took out their tools and began to unseal the plastic seal on it.

Kaka--

A piercing and unpleasant sound came out.

The bespectacled man stopped what he was doing. "Is there something inside?"

"No way," the blond boy was stunned. "Wasn't it fine when we came to investigate before?"

Time had arrived at noon, but the sky was getting darker and darker.

Dark clouds piled up and pressed against the top, lightning and thunder roared in the clouds, and bean-sized raindrops scattered. A storm is approaching.

"I'll open it." the blond boy took the unlocking tool from the bespectacled man and opened the thing in two or three moves.

"Roar!"

There was someone inside who rushed out like crazy, pouncing on the yellow-haired boy and tearing at his face.

"Ah!"

The boy with yellow hair screamed in pain.

Seeing this, the person wearing glasses kicked away the madman above and pulled the boy with yellow hair back.

They opened the wrong container!
