The school temporarily arranged for the research institute to use a small building on the south side of the campus; it was not large, with only a little over three hundred square meters per floor.
Previously, this place served as a warehouse for storing sports equipment, due to the old sports field being right next to it.
After the school expanded, the old sports field was redeveloped into a canteen and a teaching building, leaving this three-story warehouse barely used. It briefly served as a classroom for entrepreneurship courses at the school, but as student startups gradually lost traction, the space was vacated.
It was now conveniently repurposed for use by the research institute for a while.
Even if the approval and construction work were expedited, building a new structure would take at least one or two years.
