章 16: German Hell on Lauria 2
Later in the day,April 9th 1639
Lauria's eastern vassal army advance force of 32,000 men had marched to a point 5 kilometers west of the castle town of Ejey without any interference. They were 3 kilometers away from the target position in the orders, but Junfilla wanted to make camp here instead. He had a terrible premonition, but they decided to stay at this spot for the time being anyway.
Back in Ejey
Nho was shock. 32,000 Lauria soldiers just showed up west of Ejey. Based on those numbers, they were clearly the advance force; if they attacked now, they could sap Ejey's strength before their main army arrived. The western army could hole up inside the castle, but since the enemy had 1000 cavalry, they could monitor movement in the fort to keep their army apprised and ready to intercept if anyone tried to leave the castle. Whether or not the enemy went on the offensive, the soldiers in the fort would have to be on guard at all times, which would wear down their nerves. He considered sending his wyverns out to raid them, but they couldn't fly at night, and they would be immediately targeted if they landed, rendering them largely useless. If they fell into a standoff, the enemy's main force would eventually arrive, and by then his men would already be at their limits.
"We've received a message from the German forces," a messenger reported as he rushed over.
"Read it!"
''Yes sir"
"Are the laurians in position? if so let us show you the Might of god's artillery!'
''Yes! allow them full power!''said Nho
On this day,11AM,the German Regiment would unleash their full power from 13Km away.
German camp,11:47AM
It was clear day, with comfortable weather and no clouds in the sky. The morning was a bit chilly, and the air was dry. There were no particles like dust in the air, so visibility was very good. Alfred looked at the skies,he had calculated the exact angle and range needed to pummel the enemy into submission,As he looked,his men unrolled at 5 meter by 5 meter map of the entire battlefield,,their forces were on the right center,Ejey dead Center and Lauria Upper left. Alfred turned around and began to speak while pointing with his cane while he spoke
''Gentleman,this is our situation,We are placed exactly 13Km away from the Laurian camp located here at this ridge,This will be one of our Greatest Killing blows in our history,We will annihilate the Laurians with our Cannons,I don't just mean their fortifications or Camps,We will destroy them mentally,meanwhile our soldiers will prepare for a attack from left right and center ,a bull by horns attack,Captain?''Alfred finished
As he said that Captain Goeben went to attention
''Howitzers! the 203mm breech rifled loading,they have a 33.5Km range and unprecedented precision,Cover your ears Gentlemen,Just the noise alone they make is deadly,''Looks at his watch''It is now 11:50AM and we will begin to wipe out the Laurians,Gentlemen''Covers his ears'',HOWITZERS!''he yelled

400 203mm guns all fired at once,400 shells began to trace themselves to the Laurian camp,Nothing could survive the hell that was about to begin

Junfilla looked over the formation of 32,000 soldiers, feeling satisfied. They were a magnificent sight, his polished and fearless army. Their enemy might be strong, but his men wouldn't go down easily.

Just then he heard a faint explosion,he didn't know what happen but his camp also heard the noise and looked at the Fort for answers,but then they were rocked with massive explosions.
KABOOM!
Massive pieces of his army flew into the air,People began exploding one after another, dying in droves.In a instant over 17 000 people died,and they would never find out how.
"Th-this...is...im...impossible...!"
Ejey
General Nho of the Kua Toine army could not believe what he was seeing.
''This is the power of the German huh? good thing we allied with them''he said
The enemy soldiers were blown up and smothered in smoke, explosions going off one after another. Every time a black flower bloomed, enemies were bowled over. Their army had been well-trained and well-organized. That trim and tidy image was quickly disappearing. They were quite literally being annihilated, like ants being held up to a magic flame. Only a small area of the camp was unaffected by the onslaught. The soldiers had formed into ranks across a huge, wide area. His fearsome enemies... they were given no chance to leave behind anything of their lives, their time, their training, as they were simply snuffed out like insects. There was no glorious battle or chivalry to be found, there were simply pitiful men being culled in the most efficient way possible.
''With these weapons,we may never have to fight at close range again!''Nho said
Inside the castle of Ejey, the citizens of Kua Toine were watching the slaughter with hope,that with Germany,they can and will reach new heights.
Back to the Laurian camp,11:54AM
Junfilla was going mad with despair as he watched his men being eliminated systematically. Comrades-in-arms, stalwart veterans, talented generals, an upper-class knight who was courting a member of his house, friends with whom he trained, sweated, spilled blood, all of them... the more he thought that they had died in vain, the more he cried, and the more he died a little inside.In mere 4 minutes they were wiped out. However,He looked at the sky and saw 1 shell coming right for him,he knew he would die,As he looked at the shell,he saw the pale horse rider of all wars,and his name was death,when the shell connected with him,he was surrounded by a massive fireball The way he was pushed by the explosion, how it looked as his body was blown apart, pieces flying every which way, became his final memory. Their mighty sorcery tore apart the tilled land. After the dust settled, not a single person, not even a single horse, had survived.

General Nho couldn't believe his eyes,in under 5 minutes the Germans wiped out 32 000 men like a kid killing a ant,But he was still sad,he didn't let his men try out their new weapons,but at least they lived,In a massive event Nho and the Germans would celebrate their victory with Drinks,and the Drunken Germans proceeded to drink 10 times more Beer than the Kua Toine did,and yet still were sober enough to not cause a scene.
Principality of Kua Toine, governmental meeting,3 hours later
"...that concludes the report on the battle west of Ejey between the German army and the Laurian army."

"Well then, does anyone know how the German Empire is able to use that high-powered explosion magic, or did no one see it?"
"Yes sir. As written in the report,the German Empire conducted their attack from their garrison."
"That's impossible! Germany's garrison was 13 kilometers from the site of the high-powered explosion magic! 13 kilometers!!! Such extraordinary magic is only found in fairy tales about the ancient sorcerous empire! Even the guns they gave us can only reach 2Km!"
The meeting erupted into noise. With his hand raised, Prime Minister Kanata quieted the venue down.
''Everyone please calm down,we know that words can never lead to cohesion and unity,we must decide upon iron and blood,stop bickering and unite in the name of the nation!''Kanata said

''Now Germany have said they plan today to end the war''

''As they just told me,the forces in Ejey will attack Gim while the rest of their forces already in Jin Hark will attack later,they plan to win in one full swoop''explained Kanata
"Isn't this acceptable? We have nothing to lose."
"Lauria's capital...and alone at that, I don't think it'll go well, but..."
''Still they must be poised to win anyhow''
In a 182 to 18 vote,Kua Toine gave Germany the power to use whatever force needed to win the war in 1 more day.
Meanwhile in the Air
100 HE-111-H-16 and 50 JU-87-2 flew towards Gim,they were to wipe out the entire force there,ahead was 50 ME-109s to clear the skies before the attack,as the saw the city in sight,their radios came to life.
''Commence the attack,For the Fatherland!''said their commander
The pilots steeled themselves,they knew every day that passed by,Germans were abandoning their War like nature for Peace,just last week,a 30 000 demonstration to the war happened in Berlin,to the Military they will filled with rage,to them war was not evil,peace was,if in peace you grow weak and war strong,than Germany needed to be strong no matter what,this was why many saw No war policy(so far to disband the army for a ''Defense army'') made them mad,but none wanted to cause trouble so they kept their mouths shut,not knowing that Fate would crush such feeble ideals soon,but for now the German People were firm in no war at any cost.

"We can't contact the advance force?!" Lieutenant General Adem yelled at the communications squad.
"According to my superior, we've been sending out communications, but receiving no responses."
There had been no news from the advance force since Lunch time. Despite just being an advance force, they were an army of 32,000 soldiers, which was unusually large. There was no way he could imagined them being completely wiped out without being able to send out a single message. They were about to send a recon force but then they saw many weird Objects coming towards them,in total 200,100 as big as a Wyvern and 100 at least 3 times bigger than their own Wyverns, as soon as they saw them they broke into 3 forces,50 went for their 62 Wyverns,50 dived right for them well the 100 biggest stayed in the high altitude,Adem looked pale.
''Enemy attack! Damn Subhumans! Kill them all!''he shouted
As the 62 Wyverns went to combat this new force,they began to fall out of the sky at such high speeds that no one could tell how many were left,they could not even hurt those 50 Beast.
''How! How! we are meant to rise above the world!''yelled Adem
But their nightmare was not over,they heard a terrible shrill from the diving Objects they looked like the were about to crash,but then they pulled up,out of them came Big eggs,as they dropped they made a whistling sound that made all their soldiers run in a panic,none had never flet this much fear,then it happen.

Explosions rocked the town of Gim,as it did 500 soldiers would die each time,fires became the only thing one could see in the city,and as they tried to escape the Beast that finished taking down their once proud Wyverns shot at them,killing many,it was hell,Adem and Pandour looked petrified,they could not make out what was going on. As the 100 smaller beast cleared the way above the city they saw the bigger ones open their bellies,as they did hundreds of Eggs left their bodies and the same process just minutes prior began all over again,by the time they left,all by 5800 men remained,Adem and Pandour were long dead from the bombs that hit the city. As the survivors left in fear,they were greeted with the sight of 10 000 Germans with their guns pointed at them,on man spoke very loudly at them.
''Lay down your arms or be annihilated!''the man said
acting on pure instinct they threw their weapons on the ground and raised both their arms.as they did the Germans began to cuff them and treat them of their injuries,that day,April 8th 1639,Gim was retaken by the Germans,the Imperial Flag flew high and proud over the tallest building,the Germans had only one last Objective: Jin Hark
45 000 Germans with 750 Tigers were about to unleash hell(the other 45 000 were in the captured areas to suppress any rebellion or bandits.
