Claire nodded, "Benjamin, let me think about it."
Think about it?
A look of disgust flashed through Benjamin Martin's eyes.
This bitch Claire, she's never really trusted him.
Benjamin knew he had to back down for now, he couldn't push any further. He laughed and said, "Claire, I was just making a suggestion, don't feel pressured. What I really hope for is your happiness."
"Hmm," Claire looked at Benjamin. "Benjamin, you're right, a child's upbringing can't lack love and companionship. I'll try to spend more time with our child in the future."
Not hearing Claire mention anything about the company, Benjamin felt very uncomfortable.
Claire really doesn't have the slightest comprehension of being a woman.
If it were anybody else, perhaps they would have already let him into the company.
And Claire?
As the words dropped, Claire continued, "The company's affairs, things are not as simple as you imagine. Benjamin, I don't want you to work so hard."
