章 31: Warning

The four of them sat around the table, eating. The whole thing was awkward: Kaizer wouldn't speak to his mother, Lisa isn't the talkative type, and Dicky… the food was too delicious for him to waste his breath with 'ghosts' sitting around the table.

As for Ms. Katherine, she has no idea what to say to Lisa. It was already bad enough that she was one of the reasons that Kai didn't get the recognition he deserved. But now that she's living in their house, what more would she do, considering the news going around about her. The woman suddenly felt irritated and clumsily dropped her spoon, causing it to make an annoying sound against the dish.

Seeing that she has unintentionally gotten everyone's attention, she faked a smile and said to Lisa instead, "Miss Lisa, uhm, I want to thank you for what you did for my daughter the other day. I tried to get in contact but I had no one to reach you from… so, I presumed you must be very busy."
