"Is everything alright on your side?" Song Jia's voice came through.

Sun Ai had to admit, the female's voice sounded mature but sweet. It didn't sound flirty, rather, it sounded like someone who genuinely worried about the person she's asking to.

"Ah! Y-yes." Sun Xun stammered. He cleared his throat, remembering that his younger sister was still in the room. He glanced at Sun Ai and gestured for her to leave the room.

Sun Ai pretended to resist, shaking her head. But a part of her was also curious about this woman.

"Xun?" Song Jia uttered, hearing him stammer.

Sun Ai's cheeks turned red. The one speaking sounded like she and Sun Xun really do have an intimate relationship.

"Uh–It's nothing, Jia. My younger sister, Ai, is here with me."

Sun Ai's eyes widened. "Uh–H-hi.."

"Hi!" Song Jia's greeted cheerfully. "My name is Song Jia. How are you?"
