Didn't know what time it was the lights were low. I pinched my last cigarette and put on my coat. The lights were still blazing at the club downtown. The Leon is fading here in this little town. Dogs were barking, last bus had been missed. By the last embrace of alcohol, I went to house with please.
I looked out side from the window, see the tree that had been gallowed. A widow is pondering with a sorrowful feel, as I leaned back on my radio.
Some cat was layin' down some rock 'n' roll 'lotta soul' he said. There was a bar show at tomorrow eight. I was starting to realize what Bob Dylan said, people don't live or die, people just float.
Time was too early for a drunken soul like me , I tried to sleep but there were no men in the dream to be.But then the loud sound did seem to fade, I heard the sound of the pawn shop closed like from last decade.
Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase, I started to remember the people's face. Early this day, the audience told me to move away.
There was a voice in my head this whole day, it just happen in the middle this May. That weren't no D.J, that was hazy cosmic jive. I fell asleep, let go the string on my kite.

...There's a starman waiting in the sky. He is floating in the solar system overhead of us. All the sound waves are leading to him, all the dreams of mankind that he conquer.
...He has been waiting for eras for the development of men, He'd like to come and meet us,
But he thinks he'd blow our minds.
...There's a starman waiting in the sky. He is looking at the jungle of men. The concrete of nests of ants can't be compare to the holy scarred palace of his. He want to rebuild this world and pump some stimulant into this.
...He sent a message to us, from far beyond all the mortal rules. He's told us not to blow it,
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile.
...He told me:,
Let the children lose it,
Let the children use it,
Let all the children boogie...

I woke up in the midnight, looked through the window with no light. Feel like I had to I phone someone so I picked on you. I opened my phone and that made me thrill.
"Hey' that's far out so you heard him too." You said.
"Yeah?" I said,"Switch on the TV we may pick him up on channel two.
"Look out your window I can see his light. Like little sparks, shine through the ether."
I smiled, I just want to go down naked and dance. "If we can sparkle he may land tonight. "
You smiled too."Don't tell your poppa or he'll get us locked up in fright. "

There's a starman waiting in the sky. He had learnt all the importance of the cosmic and he was getting accustomed to it. The universe meaned nothing and the meaning of singular couldn't change anything.
Dance, he said. Dance. He'd like to come and meet us, But he thinks he'd blow our minds. So in the mumble of the night. The children was summoned by him. To our surprise, they didn't show any reluctance.
There's a starman waiting in the sky. The saints held their breath and the country doctors gasped for air. Cousins of the bankers had been running for yards. Starman, thou instructed the children to dancing. Join the ball of spirits.
He's told us not to blow it, Cause he knows it's all worthwhile.
He told me:
"Let the children lose it,
Let the children use it,
Let all the children boogie. "
