章 123: Biggest Weakness

When I am finally able to get my emotions under control, I feel a little silly. There is so much going on. Murderous shadows, the risky deception of Matvey Volkov, cartel members waiting to attack in the night, and yet it is something like Dominik's past hook-ups that are bothering me. 

Everything has been a rollercoaster of emotions since I was taken from Theo's, though. And it hasn't slowed down. It hasn't gotten easier. If anything, it has only gotten more complicated. More dangerous. And Dominik is my ground—my place of safety and security. When that suddenly felt less sacred and sure, everything else just… crumbled. I can't let that happen. 

Luka did say my biggest weakness was now Dominik and vice versa. It makes sense. But I have to be stronger than this, because the threats we are facing are so much bigger than Angelique and her perfect, beautiful body that Dominik has been seduced by more than once.
