A white moose, seen as a spirit animal by the Cree is shot. The hunters are murdered, then the hunting lodges burned to the ground. A group calling themselves the White Moose Clan has declared war on Canada and Spruce Bay is caught in the middle. Jim and Leigh struggle with escalating tensions between groups in town as events spiral out of control.

This is one of the most well put together web novels I have ever read. The story wasn’t quite what I expected, but I found myself being pleasantly suprised by it. This story hits on some very real social issues, and does it in a way that isn’t dry at all. I loved every bit of my journey through this novel and would love to see more stories like this.
