The energy around him surged, the night air buzzing with raw power as he gathered his strength for the coming assault. 

Below, the Sun Sect's forces patrolled the streets, unaware of the storm that was about to crash down on them.

Eveline crouched nearby, her eyes locked onto the city's barrier system. She could see the faint glow of the formations woven into the ground, their power drawn from the lightning ley lines that ran beneath Amberlight. 

Tristan stood on the opposite side, his hands already brimming with long-range lightning techniques, crackling at his fingertips. 

Without another word, Lassim leaped off the rooftop, descending like a bolt of lightning.
