Still lying on a couch inside of the mysterious penthouse, Eren, barely wearing any clothes, looked over at the woman in awe. She was one of the most beautiful women he'd ever laid eyes on and her body was that of a goddess. She continued sitting in her chair with her black spandex-covered legs crossed, staring through her mask at the boy as if he were a five-star meal
'Am I dead?' The hero thought to himself frantically. 'Did my body explode and then send me to heaven?'
The young hero looked down at his body, seeing that his wounds had been dressed by the woman. Realizing he was nearly completely naked, Eren reached for his face frantically, feeling his face for his black mask. He let out a sigh of relief upon realizing the mask was still on, though only by a thread as his hair and part of his eye were visible.
Seeing him reach for his face made the seductress giggle sensually before teasing the young man with her words. "Don't worry, my little spider, I didn't take a peek. I like the mystery." The woman's alluring voice sent a shiver down Eren's spine, giving him a feeling he's never had from something as simple as a woman's voice.
"My little spider?" He asked her shyly. Though it was odd, he sort of liked her calling him that.
"Well, you had that spider on your outfit, or at least what was left of it, so I think it's a fitting nickname for you. You also sounded young when you were talking in your sleep. Are you in college?" She asked him as she rested her hand on her chin, staring at him intentively.
"Uh… yeah it's my first year." He lied.
"A college boy, huh?" She tapped her finger on her chin as she spoke seductively before standing up on her feet and slowly approaching the boy like a runway model.
As she approached him, Eren could feel his heart racing. Her hips swayed side to side with each step. Eren's eyes were locked onto her legs, thighs, and hips as if he were in a trance. 'I'm definitely dead or I'm dreaming.' He thought to himself as he watched her hips and thighs continue to sway side to side until she was right in front of him.
Taking her gloved, clawed finger, she slowly ran it down his upper chest and the rest of his upper body, using his defined muscles as a guide. Eren's spine shivered in arousal once more, as this was the first time a woman had touched him in such a way.
Bending down on her knees, the woman continued to lightly scratch his chest with her claw while whispering in his ear. "Well, I don't mind if you don't. Do you mind the age difference?" She erotically whispered in his ear. He shook his head quickly without breaking eye contact with her, he didn't mind it at all.
With her face level with his, she gazed into his eyes through their masks. Eren could feel the aura of her animalistic nature surrounding her as her eyes glared at him as if she were ready to devour him whole.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" She questioned, immediately snapping Eren out of his trance as his brain could only think of Cindy.
"Uh… Well, it's-" He started to mutter his answer, but he was quickly interrupted by her finger being pressed against his lips.
"Shh. Actually, don't answer. Are you still a virgin? How about we role-play a bit?" Taking her hand, she slowly slid it down from his neck all the way down his body, approaching the only clothed part of his body.
"I'll be the teacher. You'll be my student." She declares sensually as her hand went lower down his body, eventually rubbing on his inner thigh.
Before her hand could reach its destination, Eren leaned upward in what seemed like an instant. Although the woman was insanely attractive to him, he couldn't help but think about Cindy at the moment. It felt like he was betraying her, despite them not being anywhere close to a couple.
Clearing his throat, he tried to get out of the feline's den in a nondirect way. "Wouldn't you prefer someone a little more exp-"
Before he could even finish his sentence, she pushed him back on the couch aggressively. Not wanting him to move, she crawled on top of the young hero and pinned his arms down. Obviously, the Phantom Spider could overpower her, but he found himself getting back into it. As she pinned him down, she slowly leaned down to the point where their mouths were only inches apart.
"I didn't dismiss you yet." Her animal eyes glared into his soul as she spoke down at him in an authoritative, yet sexy tone.
'Ho-ly shit.' Eren's inner voice muttered in disbelief, however, he realized the whole situation wasn't right.
Eren grabbed her by the waist, making her think for a second that he was into her advances. Using his superhuman strength, he lifted her up in the air, causing her to let out a playful squeal as he easily overpowered her. As he leaned up with her in his grasp, she wrapped her arms and legs around him tightly. The young man then stood up, with her still clinging to him, before gently placing her down. Now towering over her due to his above-average height, the masked boy looked down at her with serious eyes, changing her animalistic glare to that of a submissive one.
"I need to go. I'm not very comfortable with this right now." Eren said truthfully. Again, he felt that doing anything with that woman would be nothing more than betraying Cindy.
The woman placed her hand on his chest and smiled slightly. She was disappointed, but she understood him. "I get it. Maybe next time."
Eren nodded and looked down at her hand, noticing the wound that she fixed, right below where his heart was. He didn't realize it when it happened, but that piece of metal that impaled him was only centimeters away from being fatal, he got lucky. "Oh, thank you. For helping me with the stab… hole. Uhm... what do I call you?"
The woman chuckled, realizing that the two of them could have possibly done what she wanted, yet they didn't even know each other's names. "It's Felicia. Or Black Cat if you prefer. You don't have to tell me yours, I like the mystery, as I said before."
Eren smiled slightly under his mask upon hearing her name. "Thank you, Felicia. I should go, now."
"Wait, you wanna borrow some clothes? They won't fit you, but it's better than swinging around with your bulge out." She laughed a bit at her own words. "I'll be back."
As the woman walked away, into another room of her penthouse, Eren looked down at his wrists and around the room. His web-shooters were nowhere to be seen. After thinking about them for a moment, he realized he didn't use them at all when he saved those people, so the cheap prototypes he made must have broken during the explosion.
He then looked into the room she entered, noticing a wall with newspapers about the Maggia. 'She knows about the Maggia? Is she looking for them.' He thought to himself. Seeing this, he knew he had to return to her, however, stopping Electro from causing more harm was the number one priority over his revenge plot. Revenge could wait.
Black Cat eventually emerged from the room with an oversized t-shirt and some sweatpants and handed them to the hero. "Here, you go."
"Thanks." Eren quickly began putting on the t-shirt, which fit him, and the sweatpants, which were far too short for him.
As he finished putting on his temporary outfit, Black Cat teased him once more. "Don't forget about me, my little spider. You'll have to bring those back." She gave him a sly smile as she spoke flirtatiously.
"Yes, ma'am. I'll be back, I promise." He responded as he nodded. "I guess this is goodbye, for now, Felicia."
"Goodbye, spider."
Still wearing his mask, the hero turned around and left her penthouse. Though he had no webs, the boy was able to freerun across the New York rooftops, making a stop at a place that sold electricity-resistant fabric, before heading home. On his way there, he tried to replicate what had happened earlier, using his electricity to run with superspeed, however, it seemed that the electricity within him was back to normal, losing its blue color and returning to yellow.
As he free ran, he thought about the woman, about how she was coming on to him so aggressively. He'd never experienced anything like that, to him, it was the first time a woman had ever shown any real interest in him, though that fact was not true, he was just blind. He considered turning around, maybe letting the woman have her way with him, but those thoughts were soon drowned out by his thoughts of Cindy Moon. In his head, Black Cat would be the easy route, but he pondered if that was what he truly wanted.
Once home, the hero spent hours creating an exact replica of his old costume, even down to the symbol, using the electricity-resistance fabric he had just bought. Not only did he create a new suit, but he also created a new version of his web-shooters. He already had the new design planned, but laziness prevented him from actually creating them.
This time, the web-shooters were small and appeared to look like regular wrist bands so he could wear them discreetly in public. Due to their size, he had to carry small cartridges to refill them, but that was far better than carrying around the old bulky ones.
As he worked on the finishing touches of his new web-shooters, a news broadcast played in the background, praising the Phantom Spider for a job well done.
"Two hundred and thirteen people were saved last night in what could only be described as a miracle. After a man described as being made of electricity caused the Roxxon facility to explode, civilians reported finding themselves seemingly teleported out of danger, claiming a mysterious hero saved them. Everyone is wondering if amidst the disappearance of the Avengers, has a new hero emerged to protect the city in their absence?"
"Many believe it was the Phantom Spider, the streamer turned vigilante who is also the prime suspect for the murder of Wilson Fisk, as he was seen fighting against the electric man moments before the explosion. Whether it be the Phantom Spider or someone else, we thank you. All two hundred and thirteen people, parents, spouses, and children, we thank you. Authorities have-"
Eren smiled as the woman on the broadcast praised him for his actions, he felt validated for once in his life. Many outlets would talk about how the Phantom Spider was doing more harm than good as killing Fisk caused a massive ripple effect in the world of crime. He felt good knowing that there were people out there that maybe understood him. However, those positive feelings waned immediately upon the broadcast being interrupted by a breaking news report.
"Breaking news: The electric man that attacked the Roxxon facility is now in Times Square. He- Oh my god!" The man reporting the news suddenly stopped and looked up at the sky with horrified eyes. Mere seconds later, a bolt of electricity struck the man down, reducing him into nothing more than a charred husk. The cameraman was also struck, causing the camera to fall onto the ground and show the electric man flying through the air and hurling electric bolts at the innocent, fleeing civilians.
The boy hero, the Phantom Spider, looked at the screen in horror for a moment as he witnessed the innocent people's lives being lost before him. Snapping out of his trance, the hero put on his new and improved costume, along with his web-shooters, before leaping out of his window to fight Electro once again.
He had no real plan, no real strategy, but he had to do something about it. It was his responsibility.
Though he failed to notice for himself, the electricity around his limbs, which began discharging because of his anger, began flickering blue as it did when his body interacted with the Nuform. Unbeknownst to the boy, he would soon find himself unlocking a new power:
Godspeed.
