章 5: Awakning
Joesh looked at the Hunger Monster in shock. "It can talk?!"
"Yes, not all, but a few can," Sela Blue explained, and for some reason, Joesh felt as though she was fighting the monster, but he couldn't see it.
"Kid, you are powerful," the Hunger Monster said, taking a step back and jumping into the air as though dodging attacks.
"I am"
"Since you know who I am, you should also know that I will never travel alone," the Hunger Monster warned with his rough voice.
"What?" She suddenly remembered something, but it was already late.
Joesh had already been dragged somewhere.
"You!! Don't think you can kill him" She shouted in a fit of rage.
"Haha" Hunger Monster laughed off her threat and made a new sign with his hands.
"Starvation"

Joesh, who had been standing behind Sela Blue just a moment ago, now found himself in an unfamiliar place with a monster of the same type as the Hunger Monster standing next to him.
"W-What do you want," Joesh asked, but the monster seemed to not care and immediately attacked him
Joesh quickly kicked its legs to gain momentum and dodged its attack. He stood up and began to run, knowing that escape was unlikely, so he had to find Sela Blue!
"No… Use," the monster said, appearing behind Joesh in an instant. It was so fast, it was almost like teleportation! Maybe that was how it had been able to bring Joesh here so quickly, even when Sela Blue had been nearby.
The monster tried to attack again, but Joesh was able to dodge its attack once more.
'This monster… I can't run away, but I can dodge its attacks! It is very fast with legs, but hands movements were too slow' Joesh noticed and decided that he needed to come up with a new strategy.
"No… Use" it attacked again, since Joesh was able to dodge it, the hand landed on the ground.
BOOM
The attack caused the ground to shatter like a spider web.
Joesh lost his balance and fell to the ground. His face was covered in sweat as he realized that even one hit from the monster could kill him ten times over.
"This monster… what the hell is this?"
How would he, a normal person be able to survive against such a powerful monster? The monster had its weaknesses.
But its strengths were too great - it could run so fast that it seemed like teleportation and could destroy everything within a 10-meter radius with a single punch.
"No… Use" that monster looked at Joesh and its fist to strike him.
Despite feeling overwhelmed, Joesh stood up, but his will was breaking apart, As the monster swung its hand. He wanted to dodge, but there was a feeling in his heart, that even if he dodge this, he would not able to dodge forever, he would eventually get killed…
'Stop thinking and only dodge. I just have to stay alive until Sela Blue-san finds me' with that thought in his mind, he determined to survive and dodged the attack but the impact destroyed everything in the surrounding area...
'I have to make it ruin everything makes loud noises and let Sela Blue-san know I am here' With this plan in mind, Joesh continued to dodge the monster's attacks. But as he dodged the attacks, he a wound appeared on his leg.
"Ah!!" blood flowed from the wound like a fountain, for a small wound it was bleeding crazy.
Joesh felt unbearable pain, it was excruciating. He was not someone who gets injured easily, this injury made him feel real pain. Despite trying to stop the bleeding with his hands, it continued to flow.
He saw another incoming attack from the monster.
"I shouldn't let it come even near me" Realizing the danger, Joesh quickly crawled away from the monster, making sure to keep his distance. He understood that he couldn't get too close to its massive fists, which were capable of causing serious injury upon impact.
Suddenly, the monster appeared in front of him again, repeating its same phrase, "No... Use."
'He doesn't know any more words than that?' Joesh tried to ignore the pain and stood up to run, but his legs wouldn't cooperate due to the injury.
"Huh"
Suddenly Joesh gasped, feeling a hard surface against his back… it was the dead end of the alleyway. He realized that he had been running in the wrong direction all along. Panic set in as he turned around and saw the monster was ready to throw another punch.
He knew he had to act fast to save himself. His heart was pounding as his breathing became heavy and unstable.
'I-I am going to die…' he thought, watching the monster's fist getting closer and closer, He held onto his t-shirt tightly.
"Ha ha ha"
He closed his eyes tightly and waited for it to hit and kill him. But after two seconds of waiting, he opened his eyes to find that monster and its hand stopped an inch away from him. Only only the monster but everything around him was stopped.
"Wha— what is happening" he couldn't tell if he was dreaming or just dead and seeing things.
He couldn't move his body… more like he couldn't feel it!
"Wait what is that?" he saw a hands sign in front of him. It wasn't like Sela Blue's or the Hunger Monster's. It was a totally different sign.
"D-do I have to make that?" he looked down and saw his hands, but couldn't control them.
"Come on, move..." he attempted to move his hand, but still couldn't feel it. After several attempts, he took a deep breath and focused his attention on the strange hand sign. It looked like a combination of different symbols he had never seen before. After staring at it for some time, he could feel his hands!
"Okay," he thought, and with great effort, he managed to move his hands and form the sign in front of him. It was not perfect, but it was more than enough to trigger something inside him. He felt a surge of energy coursing through his body as a series of symbols appeared in front of him, combining into one.
With a sudden burst of energy, the symbols merged into one another, resulting in a massive explosion.
BOOM!
He slowly opened his eyes hesitantly and saw a strange box appeared in front of him
"This… a slot machine?"
