So this is the statistics I came up with what do you guys think?
章 1: Prologue
Bell's Pov
"Haah" "Haah" "Haah"
I was panting very heavily and pain is currently flooding my body in this dimly lit room or to be exact this dimly lit floor of the Dungeon.
"Ragrghhhh"
"Damnit all damnit all, why is it still chasing me all the way here"
Someone might wanna know what is chasing me well its a minotaur a FREAKING MINOTAUR!
[Earlier]
Heya there my name is Bell Cranel and I dreamed to be a hero you see it all started due to my grandfather. He told me stories about legendary heroes of old. Due to that I dreamed to become one myself when I grow up.
After all heroes are really cool and pretty much like everyone praises them and they got to have battles with legendary monsters of old and gained harems of many beautiful women and my grandfather especially focused on the harem part.
He told me to one day be an adventurer and hero and most especially get a harem of beautiful girls. And if I want to achieve that he told me to go to Orario where the Dungeon lays.
I know you may have a lot of questions so let me answer this first what is the Dungeon. Well I may not be very knowlegable but the Dungeon is akin to an gigantic underground maze with countless floors which to this day no one has ever fully explored.
It also spawns monsters on its walls which makes it very deadly and more so when the monsters get out of the Dungeon. They have wrecked havoc on the outside world for so long.
Now to the next one what are adventurers. Well that would be perhaps need an even longer explaination.
It all began when the gods from the upper realms descended here on the mortal realm. They have descended here to learn and live with us mortals and they even sealed of there powers all except for one power.
Which gives us mortals there blessing and therefore becoming adventurers. Due to that we mortals grown stronger and were able to level up as they call it. We become part of what they called familias.
Of course if you weren't given there blessing you would still be an ordinary mortal and won't be able to level up.
The Adventurers would then fight the monsters to get stronger and to also explore the Dungeon and its many mysteries. So If one were to think about it being an Adventurer would be the closest thing you will ever be to being a Hero.
Sadly enough reality is often disapointing. Not a single familia accepted me on Orario and the end result was me not becoming an adventurer.
But maybe it was my pride or my stubborness I didn't let it stop me instead I decided to enter the Dungeon as an Unblessed mortal which is pretty much suicidal.
I only bought a single combat knife with me to the Dungeon and its quality is just common one. On the first 4 floors I fought monsters with my life on the line and even got serious injuries for it.
Those monsters any Level 1 Adventurer can easily defeat I fight life and death battles with and I continued to do it for about 3 months.
Hell its a miracle I even survived for too long and instead of it discouraging me it instead boosted my confidence. I decided it was a genius idea to go to the 5th floor.
And boom I met face to face with a FREAKING MINOTAUR! Those monsters shouldn't even be on the 5th floor those things spawn on the 10th floor at the very least after all not on the freaking 5th.
"Woosh"
I barely dodged that swing that would have killed me in an instant. I don't wanna die I haven't achieved my dreams yet. I can't die yet.
Damnit all this pain is killing me I can't continue on running like this. Huh what is a door like that doing here on the Dungeon. It feels weird like as if it was calling unto me as if its telling me to enter it. Should I or should I not.
Whatever if it means I survive and escape this minotaur I could care less. I ran towards it with all my might easily pushing it open.
When I was inside the door suddenly closed itself. I was unable to open it whatever I do it won't bulge. Well atleast I got away from the minotaur.
I decided to investigate the place a little. It looks like an ancient temple of sorts I had never heard of such a place before in the Dungeon. Looking around more I saw some enormous stone statues around the strange temple.
What made me curious the most was the stone statue the looked like a god or monarch of some sort that is sitting on a throne.
"Keok"
I spit out some blood. Damnit I'm losing strenght and conciousness. My body finally gave in unable to last any longer thanks to the injuries I've attained.
I fell on the floor it looks like it has some kind of strange inscriptions of some sort which I don't understand at all. Before I lost conciousness though I have heard a female like voice telling me something.
"Congratulaions on becoming a 'Player'".
