ADRIANA'S POV
"Where is it?" Val was staring at me, her hands on her hips a few days later.
"Where's what?"
"You didn't just come here to sit down, did you?" She sat down on the low bench beside me, wiping sweat off her brow as we watched the guards train.
Did they never get tired? A few of them sent disapproving glances my way but I couldn't care less about that anymore.
"As a matter of fact, I did. I've been in that house for hours and it gets boring, you know?" I muttered, folding my hands.
"Go on. Bring your gun. Let's do shooting practice" She stood up, clapping her hands together.
I raised a brow at her suggestion. "You do know I'm not allowed to train with you guys right?"
She shrugged simply. "So what? He's not home, is he? He won't be home for a long time so let's just focus on this one for a while, Adriana"
