He couldn't suppress his grin. Within a distance were gently swaying palm fronds and bright snatches of sun and sky beyond. They were a beauty, but they were not the cause of Lycano's elated state.

It was the beautiful creature walking along with him. 

She was silent as she stepped on the dead leaves that were knocked by the wind and fell to the ground. But it was fine for him. 

He doesn't need explanations. He just wanted to savor every moment that they were together, which he thought would not happen again. 

Adding more to his ecstatic feeling, it was she who started the conversation. 

"I wasn't able to thank you properly then, my lord. Forgive me if I run away. I just don't want you to be entangled with my mess," Lady Aisha apologized before stopping and bowing to him. 

Lycano immediately shook it away as he waved his hands in the air. "I'm just glad that you're alive."
