'Kim Doyoung , say something ', Jung s head was going blank. What on earth is going on?
" Jung-Ah !!", SanHa yelled at the screen and his voice just made San want to run away.
The heat was getting closer and the man s foot steps were syncopating to Jung s heartbeat.
" Mingyu, ideas now", San yelled at the earcom but MingYu just said he is completely blank.
At that point, JunHui started to hack into the lighting system using the data pathways that he is transmitting to DoYoung. DoYoung was using the crocked transmission from JunHui to set a relay into place. As for SanHa, he reestablished connection to the elevator sytem
Five seconds later , a light flickered on the stairs compelling the man to ascend them while at the same time the lights flickered in the elevator behind Jung, making the man behind him distracted and turning back to go and see what is the mater..
Both the foot steps dispersed and Jung almost threw up in the floor. That much cortisol is undoubtedly toxic.
Everyone on the field sighed in relief and they all wanted to interrogate Jung on what the earth he was planning.
" The heat is ascending the stairs, move to the..., JunHui was still talking and already Jung had moved to the corner to the side of the elevator
" SanHa, why on earth is Jung not listening to me?", JunHui asked SanHa who was devoid of answers.
' Would it kill them to make sure their earcoms work before they send me on something like this. And then when I say preparation, that food-addict engineer doesn't listen ',Jung was fed up
"Don't do that . Ever!!", Doyoung yelled to the earcom and almost slammed his tablet on the floor
' don't do what!! ' he wanted to yell too. They are the ones going Awol and didn't make sure the earcoms are functional
" The guard on the stairs is coming back down", JunHui told Jung. And this time he really hoped Jung would listen.
The blinking dot on Doyoung s phone remained stationery and they all waited for the guard to come down the stairs
Ten seconds later the guard finished descending the stairs and headed for the direction he initially came in.At that instant Jung slid behind him , stealthily and promptingly addend the stairs.
There was no greater relief than the one he felt going high up.
" Turn right on the first corridor and keep going", Doyoung told the earcom.
' is this the right time to tell Doyoung that indeed Jung might have night blindness because he feels like he is going to lose his teeth through the stair. He can't see anything', Jung kept on ascending.
Fifty stairs later he was on the first floor and he was standing in the corridor where San had installed the cloak on the camera
" There is no one here but there are guards that could be coming in the next few minutes ", MingYu told the earcom and like an obedient child Jung proceeded in that direction
" Update is complete .Doyoung ,you can scan it", JunHui told the earcom and DoYoung obeyed the instruction.
" Heat radiation occurring in the lifts ", MingYu spoke so that whoever hears him does so.
" Wait by the corner..", DoYoung told Jung who was already stationed by the corner.
This feels all too familiar..
That's right! . He was here a couple of months ago and he was holding a box of stickers instead of u-gloves.
Jungkook smiled to himself but before long his reminiscing was cut short as he heard the elevator coming.
" There are two coming out of the elevator ", MingYu spoke.
That's not right at all
Why are there two guards patrolling the first floor??
"Check again", San told SanHa and MingYu.
" Choi-Nim , he is not joking. There really are two bodies. ", SanHa spoke in disbelief.
" JunHui, is this expected? ", San asked Him
" Yes and .... no", he answered almost uncertain of his answer
" The guard is following Jung s path", MingYu interrupted the conversation
" SanHa ,what do the cameras show? ", San asked SanHa but SanHa said that he is still loading night vision on the lenses and that he can only activate countdown for now
" Jung, move to the door and wait for my instruction', DoYoung told Jungkook and he immediately set off
" The gloves work..", SanHa spoke but he withheld something from San who was already too edgy. It's probably best for now as he really doesn't want to get beat up or throttled
Jungkook stood in front of the door and he looked to the two electronic installments
The door has a fingerprint scanner and an electronic keypad.
The fingerprint scanner is for workers like programmers or any authorized other computer attendees .Their prints have been uploaded into the system and are their entry passes . The scanning will allow acess to the server into the room for this personnel.
The keypad is just for anyone who wants acess to this place .The numbers are easy to get because whenever a the user requests acess at the security desk to acess the room, they are given a temporary one time code that they enter at the door. However the privilege they get from their use is not broadened at all.
The print usage is a two-way relay that target the main door and the door at the server. Unlocking the main door using a print automatically unlocks the server door s first security point. The second security point is unlocked with a key card. Just insert the key card and place the print to completely unlock and acess the room.
Initially, any combination of print and key card registered in the system could enter the room but due to the increase in security, only the corresponding key and print can acess the room. Meaning for example software engineer like Terada Takuya, if he wants acess he can only enter using his print and a card registered to his name..
It's clear to deduce that those who use a code to acess the room can't acess the server . Mainly because their prints have to be in the system and they need to have a registered key card.
Doyoung gawked at the countdown on the screen waiting for the gloves to finish replication
" Jung , your gloves should be lit and your glasses should show SanHa s countdown ", Doyoung told him
Some seconds later
" Scan the glove ", DoYoung spoke while waiting for JunHui to load the blueprint for the room.
Jungkook placed his thumb on the scanner and it began scanning him and in two seconds the scanner turned blue. That meant that he is verified and can go into the room.
He moved his free hand and he pulled on the handle but unfortunately the handle would not open the door.
He tried again and the same blue light was shown, but yet again the door would not open.
" Do I have to tell you to open the door?", Doyoung sarcastically told the earpiece.
' You useless creme donut, thars exactly what am trying to do' , Jung fought the need to explode
" Jung-Ah, open the door and go inside.", San whispered softly when hearing Doyoung mocking Jung
' hyung , am doing exactly that ', if only San could hear his thoughts
He tried yet again but the door wouldn't burge
" Jung,there is a guard behind you and one is reaching from ahead. Get in the room now", MingYu aggressively told Jung but his anger was not helping because Jung still could not enter the room.
" This is not funny, you have to move", SanHa told the earcom but Jung was still fighting with the lock.
Jung tried all ten of his fingers and all of them agreed but none opened the door for him
Panick was instantly installed in him because he could hear the footsteps approaching and the only way he can escape is through the panel
" Am too young for this." , SanHa complained while placing his hand on his head when he saw Jung s dot stationed at the door
" Are the gloves working fine?", San barked at SanHa and everyone who had ears. They all said yes and JunHui said used they Song MinGi s prints which they got them when he touched Jung s box..
"Why is this not working?", San looked to SanHa who was very much focused on his computer.
Jung tried again . This time he was using his body to push against the door until finally the panel opened and then he slipped inside and closed the door two seconds before the guards turned into the corridor.
He laid on the door and he breathed five times. He coughed into his elbow and closed his eyes
" I just lost hundred years of youth", he spoke out loud, releasing the tension that had inhabited in his audience.
" Wait for a couple of minutes, you are safe now", SanHa told him while he was trying to analyze some things and was waiting for the connection to the little robot in the server.
Jung walked to one of the chairs, pulled it and slumped onto it
San wanted to congratulate him but he had to make a phone call . Besides he will do that later when it's just the two of them
" Doyoung!" MingYu whispered like he had done something wrong
" Did I say there were two heat radiations?", He sounded like he made a gruesome mistake
Everyone froze..
" What are you talking about? ", JunHui got anxious
" Uhhm...A-a new heat emerged from where the guard w-was standing and it divided into t-two", He stammered like he was seeing ghosts
What!!!
" Two.. are following the guards moving parallely and the other is moving in the corridor infront of the server room." , He placed his hands on his head.
San felt his heart sink and his stomach hollow at the last sentence.
"What !!" Doyoung s tone sounded lethal. Like a volcanic eruption and was releasing compressed hydrogen..
"Right now , there are six radiations including Jung. ", MingYu was not sure if his eyes were still functional. And all his skepticism dominated his voice
"SanHa, let me see", San growled after he threw the phone on the chair
"Am still blind" , SanHa was feeling like he was sitting ontop of an anthill
" Jung , move to the wall", MingYu whispered to Jung
The young chef seemed almost unaffected by the turmoil of his colleagues . He was swinging carefreely on the chair and was making sure he completely relaxes. Even though it's dark in here, the light from the window blinds is sort of useful and...
Bang!! bang!!
" San-Nim ,two radiations are missing", MingYu yelped and his word made everyone feel like their brains are liquefying
" What do you mean they are missing??? ", JunHui thought that his best friend was losing his mind
" one of the remaining four is standing in front of Jung", MingYu was without a doubt sounding like he was held at gunpoint
Jung sat frozen in the chair. That loud bang has paralyzed him so much his intercoastal muscles felt shattered.
" Doyoung!!!", He whispered the only thing he could say at this point
" Don't worry, they won't...", Doyoung tried to comfort him but he stopped talking when his blueprint showed mechanical motion near the server door
Click!!
The glass door for the server room unlocked meaning that whoever this was , they were coming into the room..
" DoYoung, the server door is unlocked", JunHui screeched
" San , what should I do", SanHa asked in complete disbelief for a solution
" Stop him from entering", He yelled like that person was threatening Jung s life ..
SanHa was already on it and blocking the entry by destroying saved passwords from the system temporarily. In a few seconds, the server door s mechanism reversed showing that it was getting locked again. Simultaneously the scanner by both doors changed colour back to red
The individual behind the door continue to retry and retry but to no avail. Finally they have up their pursuit
"Doyoung! ", His voice quivered.
"Am thinking", Doyoung tried to comfort him with a lie as hearing his voice like that just made all his neural pathways and cerebral processing shutdown
"It's quiet", he whispered and everyone just went tense..
"Ahh!!!", Jungkook subconsciously screamed jumped from the chair at the same time he covered his mouth when now the door was being attacked...
" San, the radiation being the door is moving inside the room and Jung is backing against the wall "
" Inside???", San wanted to faint
" Doyoung...", San yelled because he was too quiet
" The person is in the room", JunHui confirmed
'Doyoung, am scared ', his mind screamed words his mouth couldn't say
" San , Jung is in the corner and the other heat radiation is moving towards him", MingYu felt like he is dictating a modus operandi
"Doyoung, Doyoung!!" , SanHa persisted
" I can't see his radiation ", MingYu was sure his eyesight is deceiving him
"What!!", JunHui exclaimed on the verge of tears
"SanHa, can't you see what is going on in the room!!", JunHui asked for the sake of the two in the field
