Vincent lay his hands on my bare waist as he returned my kiss fiercly, wantonly, more impatient than he'd ever been. There was a distinct yearning in every brush of his lips against mine, every caress of his fingers against my skin, like it was the last time he'd ever get to do it. I found myself lost in the taste of his tongue as it plunged into my mouth, his scent overpowering all my senses, making every hair in my body stand on end.

I tugged his suit jacket off his shoulders, impatient to feel his skin against mine.

"No need to shower tonight. I'm not letting you out of this room," I breathed against his hungry lips, slowly unbuttoning his shirt.

"I wasn't planning to," he whispered, lightly pecking at my lips. "I don't want to waste a moment."

I smiled, reaching for his hand and intertwining our fingers, feeling the coolness of the ring on his hand. I lifted it to my lips, eyeing the shimmering stone dazedly.
