Derek stood quiet for sometime. He didn't know how to react. He didn't know what to say. He had been keeping Charlotte and Rory for literally nothing.

"We're all not safe now," Luke said again, pulling Derek out of his thoughts. "He will come after all of you. All of us. The girl is not safe." He whispered.

The girl is not safe? Derek frowned.

"What do you mean by the girl is not safe?"

"He has been looking for a way to have her even while Fernando was alive. He looked for ways to get her, but Fernando hid them by relocating them to a different place."

"Did you not say that he made a deal with Fernando to leave his family alone after his last mission?" Joshua asked and unexpectedly, Luke laughed a little, but that laughter held a tint of sadness.
