It wasn't hard to guess what they were thinking based on the looks on their faces, but Alidus just raised his hand to stop them from doing anything and gave them a look to tell them to trust me.

There was a moment of hesitation from the giants as they didn't know what to think, but eventually they nodded in agreement and decided to give me the benefit of the doubt.

It wasn't because of what they thought of me, but rather because of their respect for Alidus.
