章 1: Mysterious App.
On a perfectly nice day I was sitting in front of a teacher while he was talking about thinking about my future and things like that, All of that was very important but I wasn't paying attention, not because I don't care but because every time I thought about my future I only drew a blank.
When the teacher finally let me go I left the room I saw my friend Ryuji, He is a troublemaker with blonde dyed hair, Our personalities are opposite but due to a certain event we have been good friends for two years, he had been given the same lecture as me.
Ryuji: Hey Ena, how did it go in there?
Ena: well, I didn't hear even half of what he said so I guess not well.
Ryuji: that bad, huh? We still have time to think about our future careers, I don't know why they can't leave us alone.
Ena: At least we're in the clear for a while, let's eat something.
Ryuji: you don't have to tell me twice!
Ryuji and I left school, and went to eat ramen at the usual place, There we talked about random things and then Ryuji talked about something I was reading the night before.
Ryuji: hey have you heard about this mysterious game that appears and disappears on your phone all of a sudden?
Ena: yeah, why do you ask?
Ryuji: because last night that showed up on my phone.
According to what I read, this game appeared at midnight and could only be played for an hour a day, The game was about fighting armies of demons with other demons to conquer territories and there is no redo, you lose once and the game disappears from your phone.
Ena: You don't say, what did you do?
Ryuji: That's the weird thing, I can't remember much after starting the game but I knew I lost because the app had disappeared when I woke up.
Ena: You were probably just very tired.
Ryuji: Yes, maybe you're right.
After eating we returned to our houses, the sun had set and the streets were empty, I have walked through those streets hundreds of times but today I could feel something strange in the air, I looked around me but when I didn't see anything strange I shook off that strange feeling and hurried home, once there I took a bath and went to sleep immediately.

While I was sleeping I suddenly heard three loud bells and when I opened my eyes it was already morning and I was sweating a little, I had the feeling that I had had a strange dream but I couldn't remember what it was about.
I took my phone to check the time, and at that moment I saw an app that I didn't remember having installed, I think that was the same one that Ryuji and I were talking about the other day, That left me quite intrigued but I didn't have time to think about it because I was running late for school, so I got ready as quickly as I could and left the house.
I ran at full speed so as not to be late, but I made a quick stop when I saw a vending machine, I needed at least some chocolates to carry me through the rest of the day, I resumed my run and when the school was in sight I saw Ryuji waiting for me.
Ryuji: Hey man, what happened, did you fall asleep?
Ena: yeah but you could have entered without me you know.
Ryuji: not happening, if you're late I'm late, that's what friends do.
Ena: You just don't want the teachers to put all their attention on you if I'm not there.
Ryuji: That's just a bonus.
We ran the rest of the way to our classroom and as soon as we walked through the sliding door, the bell to start class rang.
Ryuji and I gave each other a high-five for being on time but right after that, an announcement rang through the school's intercom system.
Announcer: Students Sakamoto Ryuji, Kawakami Ena, and Aragaki Shinjiro, please report to the principal's office, I repeat-
Ena: that's us.
Ryuji: What does that old man want now?
Ena: nothing good I bet.
We left the classroom and when we got to the principal's office, the third troublemaker they called was not there, Which didn't surprise me, he is notorious for his poor attendance record.
When we entered the office we saw a bald man in an ugly yellow suit, he was not happy to see us and the feeling was mutual.
Principal: well guys, before we start, do you have anything to say in your defense?
Ena: Whatever you think we did, we didn't do it.
Principal: these days there have been a series of violent attacks in the city and the last one happened very close to the school grounds, you wouldn't know something about that?
Ena: Of course not, we were too busy robbing grandmothers on the other side of town.
My sarcastic response left veins on his forehead pulsing and he slam his hands on his desk in anger.
Principal: I know that you have something to do with this and when I have evidence I am finally going to get rid of you, thugs!
Ena: good luck with that, thanks for the heads up.
Principal: get out of here!!
We left the office and walked slowly back to our classroom.
Ena: man, I hate that guy.
Ryuji: Me too but you didn't have to provoke him like that.
Ena: He was going to get angry no matter what we said, it always ended that way.
Ryuji: well you're not wrong.
We returned to our classroom and I took my seat in the back next to a cute girl named Takamaki Ann.
She had long blonde hair tied in pigtails and cute blue eyes, over her uniform she was wearing a hoodie, Ryuji, she and I went to the same school a few years ago but we were never friends there, we only talked from time to time.
Ann: Are you getting into trouble again?
Ena: no, problems seem to be looking for me.
