Flowers slowly bloomed under the warm light of the morning sun and Cayenne woke up with Stefan massaging her wrists. 

"Morning love." she greeted but Stefan didn't respond but continued to rubbed the ointment on her skin. "What's wrong?" 

"I hurt you." 

The regret in his voice squeezed her heart because she knew how it will affect him from this day forward. She couldn't really blame him that he was easily fooled with someone's words because no matter how much he tried to have confidence in their relationship, Stefan was also insecure just like her. 

They were both afraid that someone would come and ruin their relationship.
