I can hardly believe who I’m hearing in my head. I’ve come all the way over to Dark Eclipse pack lands, and the voice in my head is one of my own pack members, but not one that I had known about moving here.

“Greg?” I ask. “Wh-why are you in Dark Eclipse?” A thousand scenarios wash through my mind as I wait for him to answer me.

“I moved here,” he says, matter-of-factly. “I filled out the paperwork and put it on your desk. I haven’t officially joined their pack yet because Alpha Kardick has been busy with something he already had going on. But… why are you here?”

I hesitate to tell him, not sure I can trust him. I have been under the impression it was Oscar who hurt Zariah and took her away from the cave, but now, I am wondering if maybe I have been too naive. “I’m looking for someone,” I tell him. I wait to see how he responds.
