概要

A very interesting book!! There is rape and a lot of sexual abuse, much to my horror, BUT still I have continued to read the chapters in much anticipation. Why? If I had to give a reason, it’s probably due to how fleshed out and real the characters seem to be and the mystery behind them. I can’t wait to know why fl ‘betrayed’ ml, how exactly she is sick, what happened in the 3 years she had disappeared and who exactly her ex-benefactor turned enemy is! As such, I’m impressed by the world-building in the 40 odd chapters I have read, since the fl’s tragic life is set up in such a way that you really can’t help but root for her!! And yes, I would like to reiterate that as much as I’m not a fan of using sex as an outlet for pent up frustration and anger... I just can’t seem to hate the ml... probably because there WAS mutual love and there still IS between the main couple (even if it doesn’t excuse it, I guess I’m just trying to say it sort of works given everything). As a result of this, I think more people should give this book a chance since I would like to see it on the voting pool - def recommended 💕

I really love this story even though the FL is having it rough at first. And I feel for the ML as well cos he feels betrayed. Can’t wait to know the full story.

Something tells me I might not like this novel. I tend to hate novels where ML is a complete jerk to FL. But it seems to be hinted that FL left ML for a reason.
FL is raped in the first chapter. Please do not vote for this story. We should all be finding this unacceptable. There is no justification for the ML to ever rape anyone. Disgusting.

Very good at sucking people into the story. The plot is very goodly detailed and evenly proportioned. The drama is placed very good. The world background is good there is enough information on it to keep the readers interested in the book.
I feel that the depth of the characters wasn't portrayed until after i got bored with the story. It wasn't badly written im just not tje target audience

The first scene is basically RAPE! No it is! Like this is unacceptable. Can we have other books please. Let’s try our best for the editors to not choose these rapey books. Ugh I’m so disgusted.
