章 194: Vacation end

The past few days had been nothing short of a dream. Our time in the mountains had brought Carmen and me closer than ever. Every moment spent together felt like a precious gem, and I clung to those memories as we returned to the reality of our daily lives.

Yet, a part of me knew that this blissful interlude was coming to an end. Tomorrow, I would be heading back to New York, back to the rigors of modeling school and the chaotic pace of city life. 

I stood in front of the mirror in our bedroom, absently brushing my hair, my thoughts a whirlpool of emotions. The room was filled with the late afternoon sunlight, casting a warm, golden hue over everything.

It was a beautiful day, and I tried to soak in every bit of it, knowing I would miss this serene environment. Carmen's presence was a comforting constant behind me as she moved about, organizing and tidying up.
