Balancing in my chair, I let out a sigh of boredom. The day had dragged on, filled with monotonous tasks and endless paperwork. My thoughts drifted, inevitably landing on Elena. What was she doing now? Was she adjusting to her new surroundings?
A knock on the door pulled me from my reverie. "Enter," I called, straightening up in my seat.
Lydia stepped in, her usual confident demeanor evident. "How was the talk with Elena?" I asked, genuinely curious about how their meeting had gone.
Lydia smiled as she took a seat opposite me. "It went well. She's nervous but eager. We talked about her new schedule, the need for an assistant, and media training. She seemed receptive."
I nodded, feeling a hint of satisfaction. "Good. She needs to be prepared for everything that's coming her way."
"She's got a lot of potential," Lydia continued. "I think she can really make a name for herself with the right guidance."
