"You're a PhD?"

"Yes, you?"

"Same." The man with a flattop smiled and lit up a cigarette. He said, "What are you doing?"

"Me?"

"Who else?"

"Growing things."

"Growing?"

"To be precise, researching growing seeds."

"Sounds interesting."
