章 4: Chapter 3
As I headed into town I decided that it's time for me to get a new change of clothes. I managed to gain lien from the gate. Totally from 2 years I have 2 million lien.
Let's get some new clothes. I headed inside and looked around. I decided to buy a few jackets, some hoodies, comfortable shirts and pants, pairs of shoes, and the coat that Sung Jin Woo wears when he goes the association to became an active S rank. I also bought a masks to cover my face like Kakashi. I bought 3. Why 3? Simple. One to wear, one is a spare and the other is in case I lose my spare.
Now with my fashion covered I headed out to Turkon bookstore. I headed in inside and went to the front desk.
" Hello I would like books on the history of remnant, weapon making, and cooking. " I ask.
He looked at me for a few seconds a bit wary since I am human but he calms down.
" Look in the back you'll find most of the books there. "
I nod at him and went over there. Learning history will be useful as there some things that haven't been explained about this world.
For weapon making its to make adjustments to my gun. I fucked up when I choose my gun. I forgot to add a grappling hook, paralalyisis darts and many more. Thanks to weapon making I should be able to modify it when I get access to a fordge. Not here though I'll go somewhere else. Maybe the anima wildlands. Maybe I can get lucky and meet a genius blacksmith thanks to my plot armour if I have any.
As for cooking I'm just tired of having grilled meat. I didn't know how to cook so I had to settle with grilled meat the entire time. I will change that right now. Heck maybe thanks to the gamer I can level it up to the point where I can make people have actual food gasams because that's where you know you've reached the peak in cooking. Like Saiba Yukihira Soma father from food wars the literal king of giving people food gasams.
Anyway after buying the books I then leave the shop and head towards a hotel. I rent a room and proceed to read the books I bought.

The next morning I head out of town while wearing my new clothes. I wore a grey and black hoodie over a black shirt with grey pants.
Plain but I like it and it's comfortable so I went with it. I left Vale and headed over to the Wildlands. That place is a fucked up. The Grimm there have killed a lot of people including professional hunters so this a good place to train.
After getting out the city and walked about few miles away from it I called out Kaisel and flew towards the Wildlands.
The Wildlands is filled with Grimm. I can sense a lot of strong Grimm but none of them interest me.
I then saw a pack of Grimm led by a really strong Grimm. It's level 30 and is 100 years old. I went down and killed the ones below me using my scythe.
The Grimm were now on high alert. I then walked towards them before releasing my bloodlust. I made my bloodlust fill the area freezing the Grimm in place. Using this I activated Dash and began to slaughter all of them.
The alpha tried to fight but he died as well. He came in trying to hit me with his arm but dodged cutting off his arm. Then I cut through the rest of limbs and killed him.
[You leveled up ] x2
' Sigh this is going to take a while. ' I thought.

Nova then cleared out most of the packs of Grimm. As he kept going he levelled up quite a bit and managed to gain 15 levels.
' Sigh each time getting exp becomes harder and harder. ' Nova thought. ' Well whatever I found the town and the fordge. Time to make some modifications. '
Nova then headed into town and went to the fordge. Once he went inside he saw someone. The owner being an old man who is holding a hammer.
" Well this is a surprise. I usually don't get someone so late. Why are you here? " He asked.
" I'm here to use your fordge. I want to make adjustments to my gun so it can use multiple other features. " Nova said.
" Hmm alright. Do have your materials? "
" Yes but why? "
" I'm going to teach you. I want to see the final product so I'll help you. I'm so bored."
" Hmm alright. "
The rest of the night Nova and the old man stayed up all night to make the new features. It was gruelling work but by the end they finally finished it.
" That was the most fun I ever had working on a weapon so far. "
" Really I would have expected you to have finished a better project which gave more satisfaction to you. "
" I haven't. Not many people come by here so this was fun. "
" Well since this finished want to go do a test drive? "
" Hell Yeah!!" The old man yelled.
" Well then let's go. "
The gun was remade to make it into a fusion of a revolver and a sword while also having the feature of using a grappling hook, railgun while using lightning dust, fires bullets holding dust which explodes after hitting the target and paralysis darts.
They tested all features. Especially the railgun and explosion bullets. All the Grimm died. The railgun shot went straight through the head killing them in an instant even through the toughest of armors.
As for the explosions it was comparable to Megumin from Konasuba. By the end they were on the ground having satisfied expressions on their faces.
" Thanks kid. "
" Hmm for what? "
" It's been a while since I had so much fun. Thanks. "
" No problem. "
" Come back if you want to make another weapon. "
" I'll take you up on that offer. " Nova said using an eye smile.
" Have fun. " The old man said as he left.
' Welp since I have another 2 years before plot starts I'll grind before heading over there. Time to start. ' Nova thought.
