章 29: Chapter 28
After Novas restaurant having it's grand opening Nova headed back to his room for the night to sleep however Ruby came to him and dragged him to her teams room.
Turns out they decided to have a party to congratulate him on his restaurant opening. Nova was surprised but accepted it as they partied the up till 1 where everyone went to sleep after passing out.
Ruby Nora and Yang decided to use Nova as a pillow so he couldn't move but accepted.
' Again what did I do to have them attach them selves to me. You know what I should stop being a fucking simp and just enjoy. '
Nova closed his eyes as he slept peacefully.

The next morning Nova woke up from his nap however he gilt more weight on him than before. He looked down and saw Weiss and Blake sleeping on him.
Nova starred before making clones to move them to their beds gently so they didn't wake up. He then got up and did his daily routine and went to the kitchen to make breakfast.
He made enough breakfast for the girls as well.He looked at the door and saw them there.
" How long have you been there? "
" Enough to wait for your food. " Pyrrha said.
" Can we eat the food now ?? " Ruby and Nora asked.
" Yes you can. "
" Yeah. "
" Ruby don't eat everything. " Yang said.
" You to Nora. " Rin said.
Nova just smiled as he watched their antics. In all honesty he has grown attached to them not as character's from the show but in real life.
' Hmm this feels nice. Scenes like this shown in the show were pretty okay but in real life they feel a lot different. Plus with all the fighting, this brings a smile to my face. '
Nova just smiled as he enjoys the morning with them joining in a few times.

After a few hours Nova, Ruby and Weiss headed to the tower so Weiss could get info.
' Okay I made that tracker so I can find Roman but I need to get it on him first or on Neo either one.
I'll do it when we have that battle. I'll just stand on the side watching since they can handle it. '
" Ruby don't play around. " Weiss said.
" Why Though? "
" So you don't attract attention. " Nova said.
" Oh okay. "
" Thank you. Anyway I'll go get the info. Stay here and wait for me okay. Ruby. "
" What? " Weiss just stares.
" Okay. " Ruby said. Weiss smiles before leaving.Nova then look at Ruby.
" Want to play games outside? "
" Okay. " Ruby said with a smile. Nova and Ruby went outside and Nova brought out scroll and so did Ruby.
" Okay so remember the plan? "
" Yep now let's destroy them."
" Gladly. " They both grinned evilly as they battled their oppentents. By the end they were defeated. Ruby and Nova high fived while cheering.
" That was awesome. " Ruby said with a smile.
" Yep. " Nova said. " So how about another round? "
" Okay. " Ruby says before seeing Penny walking down the street.Nova looks at Ruby.
" You know her. "
" Yeah. She's Penny. Meet when we visited Vale. "
" Oh. Want to go talk to her?"
" Can I? " Ruby asked.
" Yes. I'll just text Weiss but we can go now. " Ruby hugged him.
" Thank you. "
" No problem. " At this Ruby did something that made Nova unable to comprehend what just happened for a few seconds. Ruby kissed him on the cheek. She blushed heavily before running as Nova sat there to process what happened.
' Well fuck. This happened and it wasn't even a cliche. It just happened out of nowhere.This doesn't make sense. Forget it. I'll think about it later. Let's just go meet up with them.'

' Oh god I kissed him on the cheek. Will he be mad? Will he not speak to me?! Why did I even kiss him?! I didn't have to and I did it anyway! Why??I need to calm down.' Ruby thought.
Ruby took deep breathes while walking before turning around a corner and bumping into someone. Ruby looks up to see who it is.
" Penny. "
" Oh Ruby Salutations. " Penny said in nervous tone.
" Penny is something wrong. " Ruby asked.
" No no nothing's wrong. "
" Penny I can see that's a lie. You don't have to tell me but just know I'm here for you okay. "
" Okay. " Penny said after some hesitation.
" Great so what's up? "
" Oh well I'll participating in Vytal festival. "
" Really that's great. Maybe we can have match with each other. "
" Maybe. Also why were you in a rush? " Ruby blushed at that.
" Well it was nothing. "
" You sure about that. " She heard next to her ear. Ruby jumped a few feet forward as Penny spun around with her weapons.
" Nova. " Ruby said. " Penny he won't do anything. "
" Are you sure? " Penny said.
" Yep he's a friend. "
" Okay. "
" Again Ruby are you sure about that? " Nova asked.
" Is something wrong? "
" Your names Penny right? "
" Yep. Salutations. " She said saluting.
" Well my name is Silvers.D.Nova and Ruby here has a bit of explaining. "
" About what? "
" Just something between us. Ruby is it okay for Penny to know. "
" It's fine. " Ruby said but avoided eye contact. Nova noticed that she was scared so he just went and petted her head. Feeling his hand on her she forgot her worries and looked at him.
" Ruby I'm not mad just confused. " Ruby looked at him. " Ruby do you like like me? " Ruby blushed heavily again before going silent.
' Do I like him? Yes but so does everyone else. What do I say? '
" Ruby you don't have to tell me now you know? "
" No I like you. " Ruby admitted with a large blush. Nova just stared processing what happened.
' Well this was going to happen at one point. Here I thought it would happen much sooner but nope I jinxed Murphy's law and this happened. '
" I see. The others also like me don't they? "
" You knew??!! " Nova just made a deadpan face at her.
" Ruby the only people who wouldn't know are dense protagonists and simps who try to get one girl but ends up getting a bunch of other girls to like him but ignored them to continue simping that one girl. "
" Oh. So what now? Also what's simping?"
" I have no fucking idea. You will probably have to have a talk with them later. Also simping is where a man tries so hard to get a girl but fails everytime. There's more versions but this is the basic premise. Understand."
" I guess so. " Ruby said.
" Um what are you talking about? " Penny asked. Nova looked at Ruby and she nodded.Nova and Ruby explained what love is to Penny which she got. Penny also explained that she is a robot. Nova and Ruby didn't care however so she was happy. Plot also kicked in so.

' Romans in his tank suit ready to kill those four. The minions are knocked out now all I have to do his watch the fight.'
Roman attacked RWBY with missiles. They flew through the air as they approached them but they were able to dodge easily. They closed in on the mech. Roman tried to punch Ruby but she and aimed a strike to his leg.
It made a scratch but not much damage. Ruby jumped away to make some space defining a punch. Yang came from above and went for a punch. Roman noticed and punched back. The fists collided but Yangs strength held against the mech. She stopped pushing with her left arm and dodged the punch before using her explosions to repel herself away from attack range.
Roman tried to get her but Weiss noticed a spot where the armour doesn't protect the inside. She then activated her semblance and stabbed into that spot. Roman tried to remove her but it was to late as Weiss froze the inside and gained distance.
As Roman tried to undo the frost Blake used the chance to create four shadow clones and got them to lock onto the unfrozen arm.She then blew them up. The shock wave didn't do much damage in the armour but Roman wasn't able to react.
Ruby used this moment to make the call.
" Weiss. " Ruby set up her sniper as Weiss used her semblance. After charging Ruby fired which went threw the armour for the non frozen arm. The explosion destroyed the inside parts making the arm useless.
Roman regained his bearings but couldn't do anything about the arm so he fired missiles at Ruby and Weiss. As the missiles got closer Ruby used her semblance to cut all the missiles making them explode.
Blake wrapped her weapon around the mech leg as Yang punched the front part of the mech as Blake pulled on the rope causing it to fall backward. The mech didn't get up as Roman got out of the cockpit.
Nova noticed Neo coming so by using zetsu he quietly went up and put the tracker on Roman and put a note on his pocket.
Neo showed up and with that Roman and Neo left.

" Well you could say that the plan fell apart. "
" No. "Yang said.
" What but you do it. "
" There is a time and place for that. "
" That was a cool fight. " Nova said as appeared next to them.
" So you were watching. " Blake said.
" Yep. "
" So what happened to the others? " Weiss asked.
" Knocked out. "
" Nice we can go back now. " Yang said.
" Yep let's go back to school. " Ruby said.
Nova just smiled under his mask as he followed them joining in on their fun before heading to bed.
