Pulling back, Clara moved closer and wrapped her arms around Leo's neck and hugged him tightly.

Her head resting on his shoulder and the thumping of his heart was evident at the closeness. 

Leo was still finding it hard to believe what was happening. The girl that would never let him hold her hand, actually kissed him, and was presently hugging him right now.

He thought, this is going to be the worst month in his life, but things turn around so quickly.

Ella's condition has stabilized. The little princess called to complain about Mick embarrassing her every day, and now the woman he loves is actually giving him her own surprise. 

"I'm sorry, Leo." Clara said. 

Leo was about to pull back and ask her what she's sorry about, but she held him tightly to prevent him from parting. His warmth sinking in through the contact and his manly scent intoxicating her.
