章 173: I want to only be a son to you

Inside Mick's ward.

He could be seen laying down on the bed and looking perfectly fine. It was as if nothing happened. 

His eyes strolled to the little princess beside him and he smiled at her. 

He could feel her warmth beside him all through and how her little palm held his own. 

What an adorable girl. 

"Did grandpa scare you?" Mick asked, stroking the little princess's hair.

The little princess nodded her head once, and sealed her face in between his neck, only to hear him chuckled softly. 

"I scared my baby." He cooed.

She still hasn't spoken since then.

She felt so useless for not being able to do anything against Jim, despite her supernatural existence. 

She wondered what's the point of having all those powers. 

She had no idea what she did to Jim actually worked, because the soul hunt only works on humans who had a strong soft spot for something.
