章 8: Getting Revenge on my Cold Ex-wife (Part 8)

After signing the contract and finally breaking off the engagement, I was back to my company. Since I don't need to pretend anymore, I finished my college, and went back working in my office at SSS company again.
Many things happen after breaking the engagement 3 weeks ago. The Shin family company is now at the same level of power as my family's company Lin in business.
Father is planning on giving the Lin company to my little brother who is now studying at college in America, since he knows that I planned to continue working at SSS company and planning to create my own new family. Yeah, I'm planning to have my own family, the Seok Family.
The only problem is that I need to find a wife. I learned something in my previous life about women, and also in this life, and that is, they are very tricky, and hard to find a perfect candidate for me. With my powerful status, I can get any beautiful women in this country, but the appearance is not what I am looking for. It's the quality and the personality. Someone who is strong, brave, trustworthy, smart, and also beautiful and sweet.
These are the things that the candidate must have. Funny thing, Hwa-Young was actually one of them. She was even the perfect candidate for me. Unfortunately, she doesn't like me and I doubt that we will get along if we get married.
I mean come on, it so obvious that she hates me. I teased her and humiliated her many times that I lost count. Even during our last meeting four days ago, between my company and her Shin company, she was staring at me during the meeting, from the beginning until the end of the meeting, with a deep frown. She must still have some grudges on me after finding out the tricks that I used during our dates. She must have figure it out, otherwise what else she is angry about?
Really, I felt really uncomfortable that time.

My personal assistant and also my secretary came in to my office for the daily report. She was beautiful, smart, strong, and trustworthy. She is also one of the candidates in my list, but she doesn't know that.
"Boss, this is the report and the results that you asked"
She had a long silky black hair, and a deep dark eyes. This beautiful young lady's name is Jun.
"Thank you Jun"
Believe me when I say this, but she is not a normal woman, so don't get deceived by her beauty. She is actually an assassin, and also the leader of the Agents and the dark assassins squad in the SSS Underworld.
Yep, she is what we would call her a Deadly beauty. If Hwa-Young beauty is cold, then Jun's beauty is deadly.
Man, she has already grown up so fast. The truth is, I was the one who made her like this. Five years ago when I was training in the mountain, I found her on the street inside an old city village, alone. She was an orphaned and a thief. The first time we met, she tried to steal from me, but failed. I then took her as one of my people after telling her that she can live with more food to eat if she joins me. I trained her and tought her many things. Surprisingly, she was a fast learner, and I found out that she is a prodigy and very talented. She became excellent in martial arts, assassination, stealing information and others, and she smart in dealing with business and deals.
In just five years, she turned from a low little thief girl, into a high powerful woman. To be honest, I was actually very scared of her and her talent. Fortunately, she is very loyal to me and serves only me for saving her life.
Although I don't mind choosing her as my future wife, but.....
"That's everything to report Boss"
She has no emotions, that's the problem. During our time on the last five years, when I was teaching her or giving her a task, she never shows any other expression like happy, joy, smiling, angry, etc. She is basically like a doll.
"Hey Jun, are you busy tonight?" I asked with a sweet smile.
She looked a little confused before answering.
"Hm? I do have some more works, but I can pass them to my subordinates to get more free time, if that what you want Boss" she said in normal tone.
Huh, seriously. This girl is so lost.
"In that case, how about going on a dinner with me tonight?" I asked while smiling. But she didn't show any reaction and just answered with a stoic face.
"it would be an honor" she bowed her head.
I looked at her with a dull eyes.
Really girl? You talk like a knight from king Arthur.

At Night in a famous Six Star Restaurant.
Me and Jun both entered the restaurant with a fine and beautiful clothes. I was wearing an elegant and cool suit, and Jun was wearing a stunning black dress.
"Where would you like to eat honorable guests?" A waiter who looked like an old man in his 50th came to us. He was dressing like an old man butler.
"The best one" I gave him my black credit card and the old man nodded.
We both followed him to the top floor, and on our way, many rich people were looking at us. The women's eyes were on me, while the men's eyes were on Jun.
I kinda feel bad for the men, most of them, not all. That's because Jun despise those who looks at her body with lust. And given her dangerous personality, and that she is a 1st rank assassin, those guys will be in alot of pain tomorrow. I'm sure of it, because this wasn't the first time she did something like this.
We arrived at the top floor which was empty and had only one table and two chairs. We both sat down and then ordered the meal after choosing from the menu. I was enjoying the view of the city outside the window, but for Jun...
*tap-tap-tap*
She was on her smartphone, texting to her subordinates or checking the reports from the company. I was going to tell her to stop playing with her phone, but then, my phone rang in my pocket, and I saw a text message from Jun.
"Huh?"
I read the message in a second and then looked at her. She then gave me a nod. A wide smile appeared on my face as I texted her back.
*Ding!*
Jun saw the message and was a little surprised and confused, but she nodded.
Hehehe, and here I was beginning to feel a little bored.

(Hwa-Young)
I was sitting on a couch while using the binoculars to spy- *Ahem* to Watch the two figures in the top floor of the restaurant.
"My lady, do you really need to do something like that?" My personal maid who came with me asked.
We both were inside a room in a hotel that is close to the Six Star Restaurant.
"Yes, I still can't trust him after breaking the engagement. I need to make sure that the woman he is dating doesn't hold any threats to... Our company."
My personal maid whose name is Sally sighed.
How did this all happened? Well, the short story is, after we broke the engagement, I was having some troubles in calming and focusing my mind, and that's because I was afraid that Seok-Jin would find a woman he likes, and that woman would do something evil to destroy our business Relationship between the SSS and Shin company.
I send my men and agents to keep an eye on him and to everyone he meets. Unfortunately, my men can only report about his activities when he is outside his company or outside his house. (He bought a big house for himself only).
The security in the SSS company and his house was very tight, so I wasn't able to get a lot of information on him, but it was enough. From what my agents gathered, Seok-Jin was looking for someone, a Candidate to be precise. He was trying to look for a wife for his new family that he plans to make. I heard that he is going to make his own family with his name 'Seok'.
I clenched my fist tight. I watch him having a dinner with a black hair woman who I recognize. She was the assistant that showed up during our contract agreement. Why did he choose Her?
"Have you gathered any information about that woman?" I looked at Sally.
She then gave me a file document which contain all the information about that woman. Sally told me that they weren't able to get more information about her background because it was hard to get, given that they were all locked inside the SSS organization in the Underworld.
From what I read, her name is Jun, age 20, the same as me. She was an assassin and a hitman in the Underworld. And she appeared five years ago with Seok-Jin after coming back from the Hiel mountains. As for her score status, they were all S+. Intellect, strength, physics, skills, etc. She is just like me. No, she is way stronger than me...
I gripped the files hard and then threw it away.
Tch! Who cares. She might be strong and smart, but she is not as beautiful as me.
I picked up the binoculars again and looked at them. They were both eating the meal and....
FLIRTING?!!!!!
I stood up from the couch and began focusing more on the scene. Seok-Jin was feeding her some of his food with his spoon, and she was Smiling At Him!! She also did the same thing! Feeding him with her spoon too!
*creek!*
Without realizing it, I was gritting my teeth.
"Uhhh miss?" Sally called my name, but I didn't answer.
After seeing them smiling, laughing, and fluttering with each other, they finally stood up and left. I kept watching them holding arms together while walking outside of the restaurant. Seok-Jin helped her enter his car before walking to his driver seat and then driving away.
"Quickly! Order to all agents to tail them. I want to know where they are going!" I shouted.
Sally quickly nodded before leaving the room.
I was still standing up while biting my thumb nail in frustration. 2 minutes later, Sally came back with the report.
"My lady, we found out where they are heading."
"Really! Where?"
"Uh... it's... the car is heading towards Seok-Jin's House." Sally said worriedly.
"..... WHAT?!!!"

After arriving at my house, I invited Jun inside. I actually was planning to care her like a princess inside my house, but I canceled that idea since it wasn't necessary.
I looked through the house fences and I saw some figures moving in the dark with my super sight.
Hehe. Hwa-Young's agents are moving faster than I expected.
Back in the restaurant when Jun texted me to report about Hwa-Young who was spying on us from the next building, my brain quickly moved to create a plan to troll her. So, I told Jun to act as my girlfriend and that we were dating. Jun's acting skill was so perfect, given that she is a professional assassin. She was able to fool everyone in the restaurant, making them think that we were real couples.
*CLOSE!*
I walked inside the house after closing the door. I wasn't afraid of them trying to spy on me, since the security around the house is very tight and strong.
While inside the house, I told Jun to take the other room that's on the second floor which was for the guests to sleep. She nodded her head and went to take a shower.
Heh, if it was the old me or someone else, they would be very happy and crazy to spend the night with a beauty like her in the same house, alone. Too bad I'm not like that anymore, because of the painful training that I had in the mountains, and my cultivation method.
"Yaaaaaawn! I think I'm going to sleep early"
Today, I worked hard without any rest, and I only slept for 3 hours yesterday.

Next day Morning
When I went to the kitchen to have my breakfast, I saw Jun already preparing it for me. She was skilled and very good at cooking. I sat on a chair and waited. But then I remembered that we have some spies around the house. Maybe I should call them stalkers, it sounded more suitable for those lowlifes.
Anyway, a new idea came up in my mind, and then I deactivated some of the security cameras, so that Hwa-Young's stalkers can get some glimpse and photos from inside.
Jun who saw my action quickly understood what I was planning to do, so she didn't ask, but instead, she began acting as my girlfriend.
Jun already knows about the stalkers since she is an assassin with super senses. She brought the two plates of food to the table, and we began eating happily while talking and flirting like a couples.
I wish I was able to see Hwa-Young's reaction when she gets the reports. Maybe I should send some of my Ninjas to spy on her too, to record her reaction voice.
