章 17: Chapter 017 Body Flicker
~Next day~
The Leaf team leader informed the other leaf shinobi members of the secret cloud-based group in their border area. The Battle commander of that border looked unhappy, even though they couldn't see his face.
So today they attacked with sufficient force. Menma was also included in the team as he is mentally prepared according to them.
They were divided into many groups to surround them. Menma was with five other Chunins and one Jonin.
One of them said, "We have to deal with all the Chuunin and Genin teams by attacking and blocking their escape routes."

They are trying to kill every Cloud ninja. Menma remained silent as he also thought that they were just a group of thieves from another village. As soon as they got closer, Menma attacked again. The two Cloud Genin immediately lost their heads. Menma looked at them and then looked at himself. He sighed and thought, "I am taking lives like a reaper now. Life has lost its true meaning in my own life. Sometimes, I even forget to feel my own emotions."
A signal flare lit up in the sky. It was a regrouping signal for the group fight. Menma and the others immediately headed over to that location.
While going to that place, Menma had killed two Cloud Chūnin who met him on his way.
Menma noticed that the Cloud Ninja and Konoha Ninja were engaged in battle here. Both sides were comprised of elite fighters.
Menma immediately attacked one of the cloud chunins who tried to react, but the sword had already sliced through his neck.

A Cloud jonin immediately appeared near Menma. But he immediately blocked him with his sword and maintained a distance. Another jonin tried to attack him at that time, but Menma became a wooden block and appeared behind him.

All of them returned to their base camp. Menma had already treated many injured shinobi before returning; he went to his tent for a well-deserved rest.

Menma meets Jonin Kaite, his team leader.

Kaite then began to explain the theory behind Body Flicker. He demonstrated this technique. Menma scanned it, and his main computer showed the true potential of this technique.
