Matthew lay on the medical table, his ankle throbbing in pain as the team doctor, Dr. Patel, examined him carefully. She gently manipulated his ankle, checking for any signs of further damage. Matthew winced in agony, feeling a sharp pain shoot up his leg.

"It's a bad sprain, Matthew," Dr. Patel said gently, her face a picture of concern. "We need to get you into an MRI machine to rule out any further damage. I'm worried about the ligaments and possibly even a fracture."

Matthew nodded, feeling a sense of despair wash over him. He knew that this injury could keep him out of the game for weeks, maybe even months. The thought of missing crucial matches and training sessions was unbearable. He felt like he was letting his team down.
