Next Day
EAT WELL RESTAURANT
"So this is your spot, we get a lot of clients, get ready to wash lot of plates daily" the owner of the eatery said to Ruby, indicating at a spot with water and lots of used plates already.
"Oh...ok , I'll do my best" she responded.
She settled down and thought of calling Kelvin first. He assured to call last night but he never did.
She called his number and it rang but he never responded.
"Perhaps he's busy" she thought and kept her phone back.
She began washing the plates and making it all clean.
She was almost done when another set of unclean plates was brought in.
She gasped hard and cleaned the sweat on her face.
She resumed washing the dishes again.
She has hardly washed half when another set was brought and the ones she has washed were taken away.
She increased her pace so she could meet up
Her arms pained her throughout but she endured till the evening when she was told to rest
The restaurant owner, madam Agnes was generous enough to offer her food..
She collected it with joy and ate gladly
"You worked hard, I'll increase the fee to four dollars per day" she said
“Thanks madam, I'm grateful" she replied happily.
PARTY
Wealthy men could be sighted moving around with their dates, associating with acquaintances and new faces.
A Pianist is also playing a soft tune and the whole place looks like heaven with the adornments. Richard entered with Val beside him, linking their arms and greeted some friends as they entered. It's a gathering where owners of big companies in Nigeria were summoned, to meet and socialize.
"Hello, Mr. Richard!" Someone called from the back.
Richard turned back and sighted Max, although they are friends, but they seldom talk and he's also the owner of another big company.
“How dare you refer to me as Mr.?" Richard said
"That's what you merit, it's been two weeks we last spoke and you care less though, although am not bothered but, you're always ill-mannered, even when talking to me" Max said.
“it's my nature to be rude" Richard replied
“His impolite fiancée" Max waved at Val
"Hello" she replied, not minding to wave back.
“I’ll catch up with you later" Max said and left
"I don't like him" Val complained
"Is there anyone you like? You dislike everyone" Richard replied
“Just you my love" she said
“Wahala" he replied as they both laughed.
"Hey you!" Albert said, appearing with Janet beside him
“I guess you had no choice amongst your many bitches, so you came with your secretary instead" Richard said
Albert giggled
“Of course Bro, hey Valerie, I’m curios when we're going to settle our conflict" Albert said
Val bowled eyes at him
“I’ll see you around" Richard said and left with Val
Albert grinned
“That ass of yours will definitely be fucked by me" he assured himself.
“I sincerely don't know why, but I dislike your brother Albert" Val said to Richard when they arrived at a spot.
“Well, It’s obvious" he answered and she hissed
"Come on; don't ruin that beautiful face with a frown. I love you" Richard said
She smiled and hugged him
"I love you best Darling but I think I need to use the restroom, my bladder might blast" she said
“I’ll be waiting" he said
*Alright then" she said and pecked him before leaving for the restroom
Albert saw her leaving and followed in discreetly
Valerie finished her business in the ladies' room and was about going out when Albert entered
"Miss Insolent" he called, staring at her as his eyes travelled to her chest and as usual, a part but not much of her breasts are exposed
"Why do I feel like sucking on those?" He said lustfully
She looked at this devil in front of her, trying to seduce her then she came back to her senses and pushed him away
He smiled
"Good for nothing!' she cursed and hurried out.
“Just a little bit left, I'll be inside of you" he said and smiled..
Richard was beginning to get impatient she's taking too long
He decided to go in search of her but a lady restrained him
"Hello Mr Richard" she said, seductively adjusting her skimpy gown
“Yes?" He replied
"I was thinking if we could have lunch together, you know." she said seductively, attempting to touch him
Disgusted by her guts, he walked away but she still followed him.
“I just adore you, your handsomeness and hotness, I'm certain you'll be sweet in the middle too, mind getting down with me?" She asked?
Angrily, Richard grabbed a glass of wine from a waiter that was passing and spilled the content on the lady's face and immediately, Valerie who has been watching from afar arrive at the scene. She made the seductress face her
"Then she landed a deafening slap on her cheeks.” That's for trying to mess around with my Richard" she said.
