章 36: Kimiko's Love Story 2

"So this is the famed Club Luna? Nice interiors."
"Hmm...are the food and liquor here Tanaka approved?"
Tanaka Shiro and Zhang Mingyu scanned the whole place.
"Yes and Yes my dear brothers!" Park Jinhai replied.
The three were escorted by one of the bouncers VIP area, which is located at the second floor. It oversees the whole dance floor, the bar and the DJ platform.
"...DJ Laliz, burn the dancefloor!"
"Wait--was that Wang Lihua?" Mingyu asked after hearing the mini speech.
The lights were already dim for them to see who was speaking at the elevated platform.
"Yeah. That sounds like Wang Lihua..." Shiro agreed.
Jinhai remembered he was supposed to shut his mouth about the details of this club or else Lihua will break up with him. They haven't even gone to a real date yet. So he decided to cover up for the girls.
"No. I don't think so. I know the voice of my girlfriend. You know how she's so famous that people are even imitating the way she talks ahaha!"
"Well...that make sense..." Mingyu nodded.
"Anyways, come on. Order anything you guys want. The drinks here are off the charts! Especially their Red Summer Drink!" Jinhai successfully diverted their attention towards the tablet that served as menu.
"Woah! You don't have to go down and order at the bar?" Shiro was amazed.
"Yes. It's just one click away! And no need for cash. You just use your black card and scan it." Jinhai said proudly like he was part of the club crew.
"Hmm. So I guess that's one of the reasons why you prefer going here, huh?" Mingyu asked.
"Yeah. You could say that hehe!" Jinhai faked a laugh. He immediately texted Lihua that they were here.
"Woah so high-tech! I bet Kazuki's company would collaborate with the owners!" Shiro commented, which sent shivers down his spine.
Uh oh! This might be a bad idea after all! He thought.
He actually picked this place for their mini gathering because he knew that Wu Hexie would not be here because Kazuki mentioned (ranted rather) that they were summoned to stay at the Choi Villa for the long weekend.
Park Jinhai's phone buzzed. Someone texted him twice.
He looked at the notification and saw Lihua's screen name. He got two texts from her, which was rare. His heart skipped three beats. She doesn't usually reply. And he got two replies! He smirked at his achievement.
Lihua ♡: WTF!
Lihua ♡: Of all places, you choose this?!
PJH: sorry, babe. It's the only place we can hang out without the paparazzi following us.
PJH: plus you accepted my reservation, my love hahaha :p
Lihua ♡: make sure they won't know about us being the owners
Lihua ♡: or you're dead!

Atleast he got replies now and somehow that was enough for him.
Shiro whistled.
"Wow. Look at this lover boy. I'm guessing it was Wang Lihua?"
"You got that right!"
"Oh to be Park Jinhai who is in a relationship with our country's leading It Girl!" Shiro teased.
Tanaka Shiro was very supportive of this relationship. It was very different from all his previous relationships. Hopefully the two players stopped playing with people's hearts and just settle with each other. The couple were both infamous playgirl and playboy afterall. Different yet the same. They compliment each other well.
Mingyu scoffed.
"Oi! Why are you brooding there, mate?" Jinhai asked his second closest friend.
"Nothing." He grunted and massaged the bridge of his nose.
"Really? Why are you upset then? Unless, it's your number one admirer? Just accept her love proposals, man! She looks pretty and kind!" Mingyu wiggled his eyebrows.
Zhang Mingyu sighed. He couldn't keep secrets from his only friends.
"Yes. It's about my stalker." He said.
"Stalker? You mean Minato Kimiko?" Jinhai pressed.
Both Shiro and Mingyu nodded.
"Boi! Are you dumb? A fine ballerina like her admires you and loves you yet you reduce her to a mere stalker?!" Jinhai was livid. Women should not be disrespected like this!
"She's fucking too much for me! It's as if she only likes me because of my looks. And I will never forget how she bullied me back when we were kids."
Shiro and Jinhai gasped in surprise.
"So she was not just a fan!"
"Woah boi! So there was more to the story!"
Their drinks and food finally came. Mingyu started airing his side of the story on why she keeps on rejecting Kimiko's advances.
"You know how I was plump like Kichiro back when I was in elementary? I got bullied so much for my weight. And you guys know who was the one who started it all?"
Shiro and Jinhai listened eagerly like they were kids listening to their grandfather's stories.
"Minato Kimiko. We were classmates back in elementary and she called me Piglet. Our classmates then started calling me by that name until I changed schools. I hated her then. And I still hate her now." Mingyu ended his story and chugged down his beer.
"Damn! We didn't know. Sorry man!" Jinhai apologized.
"Yeah. I never knew she was like that. You must have been traumatized" Shiro nodded, disappointment was evident in his voice.
"And I don't get why you like Lihua so much when all of them are shallow dolls who bully the weak. You know what they say, birds with the same feathers flock together." Shiro said nonchalantly.
"What did you say?! You don't have any right to judge them! Lihua is not--" Jinhai's rage was cut off when the club music was suddenly cut off.
"Alright! Since tonight is karaoke night, let's give it up to Pig Tails Girl!"
"Thank you! Oh how I wish my drummer friend was here so we could play the live version but anyways, my name is Kimiko and I dedicate the song The Story Of Us by Taylor Quick to the love of my life, Mingyu, even though he won't hear this. Any instrumentals can do! Let's go!"
An upbeat song started playing. The three looked at each other when the girl named Kimiko started singing.

"Fuck! It's her. She's here!" Mingyu cursed and combed his silver ash blonde hair.

The two dragged Mingyu who was muttering curses. They saw Minato Kimiko singing her heart out, face flushed.

She was singing the song with so much emotion despite her being obviously drunk.

"Next chapter!" Kimiko put her hands up. The crowds cheered. They hyped her up.
"Oh. Look! Wang Lihua's there." Shiro pointed at the lady bear the stage.
Park Jinhai only smiled.

Zhang Mingyu just stood there and watched the whole performance. He was in deep thought. His face sometimes bearing a soft look, but would change and a scowl will replace it.

She pointed at the secondfloor as if she knew Mingyu was there. Mingyu stiffened on his spot and got goosebumps. Then she looked away, down to the crowd, and did her signature heart gesture with her free hand. She does that whenever she see him, it made his stomach do a flip.
"Woah this girl can sing! She can be an idol if she wants to!" Shiro mumbled.

The club goers gave her a deafening applause and standing ovation. Minato Kimiko gracefully bowed just like she usually does after her ballet performances.
"Wow! Amazing! Around of applause with a lot of shouts for Miss Kimiko! Now who's next? Yes from the VIP section!"
Shiro and Jinhai followed the DJ's finger pointing at someone and they were shocked that it was....
"I am Mingyu."
It was Zhang Mingyu, who went down and grabbed the microphone.
