章 32: Catch The Demon
"Of course, she would be in her chamber only." Thea nodded with a smile as she took a step back when the man was about to hug her. A look of disgust filled her eyes but she hid it before the man could notice it.
He frowned but did not think much about it as he turned to leave when her eyes turned darker and she smirked.
James was goading over the fact that Thea was a fool. She never realized how he was meeting her sister in her own house and she was encouraging him for it.
As he walked, many eyed him. Many believed that the news on the information table was right and the rumor of demons was only spread to cover it while a few still support James since he was a powerful mage.
Some even believed that if he was cheating on his fiance, it was fine since she was a waste anyway. Except beauty and her family support, she was nothing. But that did not stop them from gossiping about the matter.
Jane was about to leave her room when James entered and closed it behind him. She gasped but her eyes shone brightly with joy. To think that he had still come to meet her instead of that cowardly elder sister of hers, showed how much committed he was.
He hugged her and kissed her neck instantly when she tried to push him away.
"What are you doing? We are at my home! Anyone can enter anytime!" she showed him false anger when he smirked and hugged her tighter.
"Who would come to see us! Your father just left the prince and your mother and sister are busy with a bunch of women in the garden gossiping over the demon. And as far as it is about Thea.. she had personally sent me to meet you and be sure that you are fine." he smirked as he waved his hands in the air and took out a blue sapphire from it. "And I have brought a gift for you."
Her eyes widened with joy as she looked at the necklace. It was not a common gem but a rare blue sapphire that had the ability of water element. Its bearer can perform a few spells of water no matter which element he belongs to.
Though there were only a few, it was still enough for a fire bearer to defeat another fire bearer even if he was weaker in strength.
"You wanted this! Don't you?" he whispered in her ears when she nodded and forwarded her hands to take it from the air.
"We had our names engraved in it so that it could not be stolen." he whispered as he took it first and raised it higher, "i have paid quite a lot of money for it. Should I not get something in return before you take it from me?" he asked with a smirk on his face when she pouted flirtatiously and wrapped her hands on his neck instead.
She pulled him closer and kissed him hard when his hands wrapped around her body and he pulled her closer to get better access. His other hands started fidgeting with the chain of her dress.
With his experience and skills, it did not take long before her dress fell on the ground and he smirked as he kissed her bosom. Her eyes closed and she moaned, forgetting about the pendant that was lying in the corner now.
It was not the first time that they were spending time in their room so she was not worried that someone would find them.
They were so immersed in themselves that they did not notice the black shadow on the wall which came and left in the flash of a second but it was enough to create chaos in their life.
"The demon is in the house. It had walked towards the chamber of the lady!" the maid announced in a loud voice as she pointed at the chamber of Jane when everyone frowned and followed the voice.
A maid was standing covered with the fresh veins all over her.
"I saw a woman in a black dress running towards the chamber of the second miss. When I tried to bring my staff to hold her, she chained me instead and ran towards her room.
It had already been a minute. Hurry or I am afraid that the second lady would be hurt by the demon." Julia was the first to act.
She was worried that her daughter would be hurt. She waved his hands in the air and a shield of wind formed beneath her feet. She kept taking steps in the air cutting the crowd and others with a fanatic look on her face.
While others followed on the ground. The news that the demon was in the room of the second princess spread like hellfire.
They all ran towards her room and soon a large crowd was gathered outside the room where the first one to reach was Julia.
She knocked on the door but when she realized that it was locked, she paused.
"Jane!" She called her daughter for her permission when she heard the laughter and smirk of a woman that was not her daughter and her eyes turned cold.
She pushed the door with full force when it not only opened but broke into two parts and fell on both sides.
"Let my daughter go or I will break you like this door too." she shouted as she entered in the room but her steps paused and she took a step back only to bump in the crowd behind her.
