"It's not what it looks like!" He exclaimed, chasing after Huiqing who had already left the facility and was now walking towards her own quarter.

"Hey! That sounds wrong. You come back, brat!" 

Feeling the pull on the collar of his suit, Fenhua paused in his footsteps. Looking back he gave the woman a death stare. 

He was about to shake off her hand and chase Huiqing, when she pulled his ears again.

"You! Is this why you told mother to not disturb you with family affairs? Because you are 'busy'?" The woman spoke sternly, not loosening her grip on his right ear.

Gritting his teeth, he forcefully tore off her hand from his ears, walking towards the Starfall bridge. A sense of panic took over him as he failed to spot the woman just now.

'Did she misunderstand?'

'If I don't explain now, what if I don't get a chance again like that time?'

'But what if she doesn't even want any explanations from me?'
